Spuds, I am soooo sorry about Pen. I have lost two dogs to liver problems and it is fucking horrible.
Making pens last time happy is the loveliest thing you can do, heartbreaking but a real tribute to a good friend.
I wrote a blog about my boys last months. It was helpful to me to allow all my feelings out. Maybe it would help you too? Big hugs to you and Pen :l

For some reason that wouldnt load, but I will check later in case its my BB playing up

Mum came out of hospital today, she has to have a PET scan next Friday, the following week we will know if the cancer has returned.
I have to say I am not feeling too optimistic

Really feeling?
Like I am waiting to get the news that my mum doesnt have long left to live.
And how that feels, I dont really know...its weird, just waiting I think....oh and trying not to think about it

I cant imagine how that must feel with a mum but I do understand believe me. It easy for me to say but honestly you have to assume that everything is going to be all clear because until you know otherwise you will drive yourself sick with worry and it may very well be for nothing.
