Stirly I have a part time job as a Slimming Consultant, and make 'oven chips' by cutting the potatoes into chips or chunks and microwaving for a few mins to soften, then spray olive oil on them with salt and pepper and bake in a pre heated hot oven for about 15-20 mins or until crispy ......... they really are delicious .......... they work well with sweet potato too ....

Tigs I love that Idea, in this day and age children are too spoilt with material gifts but the gift of spending time with busy parents is much more special ...........

I do about the same thing but I toss them with EVOO and then micro them so the slices don't stick together. Then broil them on waxed paper under the oven grill til browned on one side and then the other. Final toss with cayenne pepper, salt and oregano. If you pile them on a plate and then top them with crumbled feta cheese, they are to die for....

I will never be able to make my 'slimming' ones again ....... tea for tomorrow is sorted .......... thanks xxx
