Built into the very structure of the egoic self is a need to oppose, resist, and exclude to maintain the sense of separateneness on which, its continued survival depends. So there is 'me' AGAINST THE 'OTHER' 'US' against 'them' The ego needs to be in conflict with something or someone. That explains why we are looking for peace and joy but cannot tolerate them for very long. We say we want happiness but we are addicted to unhappiness. Our unhappiness ultimately arises not from the circunstances of our life, but from the conditioning of our minds. Our governments are operating on highly unconscious egoic mind structures...we have little or no control of this, but we do have a say in how we respond.......BY GIVING YOUR FULL ATTENTION TO THIS MOMENT, AN INTELLIGENCE FAR GREATER THAN THE EGOIC MIND ENTERS YOUR LIFE

Trollop cat has gone outside again. Despite the fact that she was grounded yesterday. Meanwhile the fluffy one with four functional legs and paws is curled up in front of the heater.

I started putting arnica drops in her water on Friday - maybe it really does work?? :H:H

I use arnica a lot for healing in my massage clinic Missy B. Swear by the stuff...has magical properties...keep it up...although I is it expensive there

When i string my guitar, i am at peace, and i am in the moment. I walk on stage, a place where ego roam's, and is plentyful. I leave mine backstage, (after i've done my hair) and when i pick up my guitar, peace reign's, the moment is now, and anything is possible. Pure joy.

But it took me awhile to get to this point. I like a bit of ego, but i play much better without it.

The Independents will go with whichever party wins/retains most seats, so as they have a choice to attend/vote/or not attend/vote. I don't care what they say.

Anyway I went out yesterday. It was strange watching my friends getting hammered and making complete fool of themselves. One of the girls did striptease on the table (I'm not saying it wasn't funny) while I stayed sobered.

Woke up fresh and happy. Awesome.

last post here for the weekend. Has been a lazy one - need more of those. I had a very entertaining 30 minutes this afternoon as two bidders bid each other up on my car - to the point where I got just over the price I was hoping to get before i found that the clutch was starting to go. What's more the successful buyer has already been in touch saying he will be round tomorrow with a bank cheque. So I'm a very happy camper and can pay off both my credit card and the vet!!

Have apples stuffed with dried fruit and leftover Xmas mince in the oven, and chicken being marinated in honey mustard sauce. Early dinner, long bath and a DVD should see me with plenty of energy to get stuck into the week.

Hey Missy - loooove it when the credit card is running at zero.

Well my 3.30am wake up, get up and stay up is starting to take it's toll. The Mad Monk was obviously infiltrating my sleep. I DID however manage to pump up tyre on trailer and spread the straw. AND, as I seem to have a plethorage, even an abundanment of bum nuts, I baked - yes baked - some lemon slice using five (5) eggs. Not a big sweets eater but hell, I'll be a devil for the rest of the month after which normal life will resume.

Early dinner for me too but no honey mustard chook ***sob*** - a cold collation will suffice. Tonight's DVD is The Hudsucker ... might stick my pointy little head in laters to see if anyone's around.

I'm giving my car away and walking from now on..

Had a puncture this Morning and upon changing the wheel, noticed that I REALLY need a full set of tires, wheel balance and alignment $600 and then proceeded to go shopping and wipe out my front guard on a concrete pillar $600 excess on Insurance.

I'd just paid off my Credit Card on Friday...

Sorry, just needed to vent..

It'll all come to pass and not impact on my life in any major way but really pissed off just now

In non car world things are reasonable...
