Just as well no-one is in the office this morning - I've been pissing myself reading last nights posts!!
Bring on the weekend - haven't been sleeping well at all and I'm going to have a lavender oil bath before I go to bed tonight and a sleep-in in the morning.
I love the dog/cat chronicles too (although not a Reg-original!)
have a good day all .......Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Morning Missy, and morning folk's,
A (thankfully) rare ordinary sleep last night myself. I reckon it's cause i'm pissed orf me pay is short. We've got a newish payroll person, who may or may not feel the wrath firsthand, depending on my manager's response today. A laid back fella generally, but stuffing up people's pay is one area where i can go ORRF.
In other new's, Good morning Tawny. Are you settled? That wind must've been frightening.
Hot date last night Bridgos? Met someone over on the chook forum? eh? eh?
What's his name? Rooster 01? Chookcook05783? Barnyardbill57?

The Thursday Chook Chronicles - Week 4 (Late Edition)
Another stunning week with both rangas cranking one out on a daily basis - I can now confirm that they are indeed pathological layers.
During week 4 Bridget again showed consistency and an overall increase of egg size was noted. Her stats for the week were 64g, 64g, 60g, 59g, 62g, 63g and 63g.. giving her an egg weight average of 62.1, an increase of 2.9 over week 3.
Missy's stats for the week were interesting. 64g, 59g, 68g, 30g, 70g, 70g and 67g. Yes ... you read that correctly. 30g! WTF happened here? This tiny eggie obviously lowered Missy's egg weight average drastically to 61.1g, a decrease of 11.5g over week 3.
Egg total over the 4 week period: 51 (Bridget 28, Missy 23)
I was surprised to note that even after the storm the girls diligently applied themselves to the task and I did reward them with a special treat of one WeetBix with warm water because the Chook Forum said I could. They are still free-ranging from 8am until 6pm when they return to the coop, have a small snack and go upstairs to their flat. There they seem to chatter for quite a while and when I get tired of eavesdropping I leave them to it. I'd love to know what they talk about.
Another interesting thing of note this week - they seem to have developed a larger and more vocal vocabulary. Instead of the normal "dook, dook, dook, gwaaaawh, tckk tckk", they now also say BDAWK, BDAWK, BDAAWWWK!
Although I clean their flat on a daily basis, today I shall replace all straw with nice new fresh stuff. The old dirty stuff will be raked and piled up so it can break down just ready for spring-time plantings. Bonus all round. Chook Keepers really have their shit together!
Missy's Extremes - 90g and 30g
The Bumnuts Graph shows that Missy (pink) is still somewhat erratic.
Both girls have greatly enhanced my life.

Hi there asp my friend, i love bumnuts too lol, i havent heard that term for ages. I have stolen your signature and posted it on my facebook status, i got about 40 replies to it......my friends seemed to think it hilarious.....i try to post some thought provoking philosophical stuff most days and dont usually get much response, but this one seemed to strike a chord. Seems the annoy enough people part of that quote was the exciting part.....bit sad eh??? LOL....I am a part of the family of humanity. Not one person on this earth is a stranger to me. Rev. Ted Noffs
