Vick, STOP!! Hubby is no worse off than you. Make a list and tell your kids to bring stuff. Hubby can get out of his recliner if he needs to pee, so he can for his other needs. YOU are important. The house is fine. The garden is fine! Life WILL go on if you don't kill yourself today.
Love, enjoy yourself for a minute. I've FINALLY learned being a matyr may be a great epitaph. Nap, watch TV, read. but STOP punishing your body. You cannot be all things to all people. It is not your job to make everyone happy. I HATE what you're doing to yourself, because I see myself, several years ago.
If we don't put ourselves, our recovery, first, then what good are we in the long run? And you are a great woman, but too ready to give your life when it's not necessary. Go, right now, and sit down. Don't wait on anyone else. Don't make me come down there and straighten you out!!

Vicki - I am going to add my tuppence worth to Ruby's!! GO AND SIT DOWN. Why is it that when the Hubs in these stories gets something wrong with them, the whole world has to revolve around them - he is in a little pain - but that is nothing compared to what you go through pretty much every day from what I can see. If the children are coming, either call and tell them to get stuff or when they arrive, have them clean, and cook - they are capable Vicki! You MUST let others take care of you and let yourself heal as much as you can. Please! Have the kids come early and let them start today?? Just a thought. vicki - you are in my prayers and I am sending lots of healing thoughts your way - please stop and rest. Love you!

Soooo Their Vicki !! ( Hay I'm a guy....I might need some TLC...Ha!) You girls got me agreeing to crazy crap ! Ha! Nooo..but really we can help out....I make dinner when my wife works 3 days a week. Ruby, I wish SO BAD I could stop, but I can't! I am a perfectionist and everything does have to be perfect! I really hate that I gotta change my menu up, seeing how I don't know how to use the grill to cook steaks and I certainly can't do a crab and shrimp boil by myself! But, Ruby, if I end up like you it is all worth it and atleast I am leaving good memories of having a good time with my children, even though they will be drinking and I'm not sure at this point, that I won't be. If I was to focus on myself and my pain, I would make everyone else miserable. I'd rather them be all happy and have a good time. If I can ever get these med doses leveled out, I'll be okay. I love all of you and I am so sorry I am down and out right now.
