Lisa and I went nuts at the baby parade we think Addison took the croud!! went to lunch with both families and then they went back to Wild Wood and we went to the beach. tomarrow I take my son and girls parasailing they can't wait then last day at the beach then back home :-(

Big sigh .... I was doing so well. I was up to 10 days, and damn I felt good! Full of energy, bright eyes, a new resolve to change my life. And then yesterday, on my way home from work, I thought "well, why not?" And .... you can guess the rest. :upset:

Oh well. Back on the saddle. Looking on the bright side, it's probably the first time in 16 whole years of daily drinking that I was able to abstain for more than a week. I'm still proud of myself for that! Hang in there everybody.

What a busy day I had! Got my hair cut, nails done and feel pretty good about myself. :alf: I am so excited to go see my old pastor tomorrow. It is going to be so wonderful! I may not post again until I get back home Sunday, but I will miss you guys terribly! Sunday will be my one week sober date! :cheering No chance of me drinking this time while with family. I will be too excited and happy! Leaving in the mornng, then church reunion from 7-10, spend the night with my daughter (they are all going too!) then Sat going to my parents and spend a night with them, then come home Sun! So ya'll don't put out any APB on me!
Ruby, so glad you got your bridge fixed. I pray you don't have any more problems with it. I can only imagine how painful that is! Bird, yes, please be our dishwasher! I love to cook, hate to clean! I can't wait to meet all of you! Panno, glad you figured out photobucket. You'll have lots of fun with it! Hallo all - Vicki - you have been busy - I do hope that you have a wonderful time - you will certainly be missed here but as long as we know that you won't be posting we won't worry about you and really well done on a week AF! Wonderful.

Ruby - I am going to go to Photobucket and try it as well - not right now as I haven't been in long from work and feel whacked but probably this weekend.

Rog - I need some advice about the skirting board - you probably missed it when I asked in my earlier post - I have someone coming to do it for me - he is a real sweetie and when I said that I was going to do it with screws and then countersinking them he said why wasn't I just going to nail them in. I think it finishes it off better and looks nicer when they are screwed in - and it holds better - what is your opinion please - you know better then me and I am going on what we do in UK.

Fleur - you did well to get as far as you did - I hated that I fell too - but I will get back up and start again. This can be done - so many folk have proved it! SO, no recriminations - just a plan and we can do this!!

Biz - so pleased to hear you are having such a good time - and that Grateful is too. It all sounds so much fun. Like the hols that my family used to have when I was a little girl. Sigh.......

IAD - LOVE the chef from the muppets - my favourite character!!!! He really makes me laugh.

Well that nudist sign, this guy at work always trying to get me to go to nudist campground down in Tallahassee and says bring my kids theres lotsa kids there. Like hell!!! And I've been telling him for years I'm not going. I mean really now....terrible humid this A.M. do not want to ride bike. Kids excited about trip to cabin. That Germany place? they asked me? Yeah its like Germany there if youve never been. Gotta practice piano now...
