      Hi everyone - I am here at last - bet you all missed me!! Just got in from work. Silly mid shift. Vicki - lovely to hear from you. There is a balance between home and hubs and what you need. Your soul needs to be fed with YOUR loves and interests as well as what HE wants your interests to be - otherwise your soul withers up and dies. And you need to decide what they are - not anyone else. there - that is my tuppence worth ! I am sorry that you hurt so much today - you must try to pace yourself - again, what YOU feel you can do, not what someone feels you SHOULD do. Don't get me going here.........

      Praying that you will feel better - sending healing thoughts your way. MB - sorry about having to fire folk - real bummer for you. Are you feeling better as you are coming down off the bac? Hope so. Grateful - nice to hear from you too - how is little Addy? Bird - lovely to hear from you as well - I have some Antabuse but am scared silly to take it 'cos I have heard about things having AL in them and getting a reaction. I think once I took 1/4 of a tab and was freaking out for days.

      Oh - bad news all - and really sorry here Ruby - I really had been thinking about coming to Helen - but when I checked out calendar at work, two managers already are off that weekend which means there is absolutely no way they will let me be off. In one way I am relieved - I was scared silly about coming, but in another I am really disappointed. So I will just have to be there in spirit and see lots of pictures and now be really envious of all of you making plans and see pictures instead and WILL come next time.

      T - hope that your uncle gets in for his surgery really soon - do they know when yet? he will be in my prayers. I do a prayer circle every night. IAD - will you please come and do my food shopping after your mums tomorrow? Save me going and doing it after work - thanks. I will have the list ready.

        World's laziest Mimzy, checking in. I laid down for a nap at 3 PM yesterday, woke long enough to crawl up the stairs to bed, and woke finally at 5:30 AM! I was s'posed to be busier than a blind man at a strip show, and I was SLEEPING! Bad Mimzy!! :H
        Somehow I came in contact with poison ivy recently. Just what I needed to go with the bites from my office mosquito. I'm just so dang sweet I guess.
        I have 2 days work to do today now, so time to get on the stick. Vick, maybe you should take a 'short' nap like me. Don't know if I feel better or worse, but guess you and I both need more rest, huh?
        MB, firing people sucks, but if it had to be done, you're tough as a one-eared alley cat. Just a really bad part of the job. Don't keep it on your mind.
        Tony, I'll be expecting my fresh produce overnighted to me. I really think you and your lovely wife should join us for Columbus Day. Sun, I'm so disappointed you can't come. We're going to start planning a really big meet for next year, and attendance is mandatory.
        Back to the grindstone. Later peeps! Keep it between the lines today, OK?

          I had a wtf attitude and just did it...feel like crap right now...but have renewed vigor to go af....it's just not worth it...

            MB, bad days have been coming at you a lot lately, and you know they are likely to continue. So yes, AF is the ticket. It will be one less thing for you to worry about, love. You know it doesn't cause anything but trouble, and you don't need that.

                    Good morning, my precious family! I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE INTERNET BACK!!! I called them yesterday and they had it back up this morning! Note to self: take care of things and don't wait on Paul to do it or it may never get handled! I've had a very rough last 3 days and not having internet has been pretty horrible for me, but thanks to all of you who called me. Biz, you are so sweet and I appreciate your prayers!! Roger and Ruby, you know how much I love you guys! Grateful, I haven't talked to you in a while, left you a msg on your phone yesterday. I hope you are doing okay. Ruby, I did not know it was going to be your birthday! I will have to make you a big cake (I used to make wedding cakes). Do you reacon they will let me bring it on the airplane? lol Roger, how is uncle Charles doing? Have you talked to Anthony lately? Has ANYONE talked to Goldie? I hope she is okay. Today is my 11 AF day! Yesterday I began reading an AWESOME book "The Alcoholism and Addiction Cure" by Chris Prentiss. Everyone needs to read it! It is really opening my mind and heart about alcohol and the reasons why we drink and how to deal with life without alcohol! I hope everyone has a great and truly blessed day! I love you all so much!                       Hey Vick!! So good to have you back, there's a big hole here when your missing!! Hope you are checking out the sites I've posted. Have you ever been to the N. Georgia mountains? Lots of fun, and SUCH a great time of year. I'm hoping for the usual great weather for October, unless a hurricane remnant is coming through! :H
                      I was serious about panning for gold there. The creek a few minutes from us is the site of the first gold rush in the US.

                          Ack! I've surfed all the sites around the cabin and now I'm really homesick for my place. Need to go sometime next week, I think, after I get the house rented and the court papers done on the bum.
