Ooooohh, yes! I love to plan! Bird will have her cubs and I'm looking forward to a bonfire by the stream and lots of music!! The cabin is where I go to renew my soul. I always try to give my guests all the options of the area, because you could spend weeks there and never do the same thing twice, but usually I stock up and hole up the whole time. I work in my poor, neglected yard, walk (or climb, hand over hand!:H) my property, work on clearing up around my fishing/swimming hole, chase off trespassers, bathe the dogs in the 'crick', and rest. When I'm driving up and I get on I985, north of Atlanta, the tension starts to leave me, and the moment I catch sight of 'my valley' is ALWAYS magic.
Sigh, back to earth. Not a bad day on tap, really, think I've talked Hubs into letting me cut the grass tomorrow at the farm. I would love to just live at the cabin, but cannot in this lifetime give up the farm; it's part of my history, my life, and my family is still there, in spirit, everytime I go there.
ANYHOO, sorry to ramble. And I'm sorry I treat this more like more personal blog sometimes than what it is.
Grateful, we can discuss ideas for a place for next year's meet. My cabin is always available, but all ideas are welcome. I go with the flow! I wish you could manage this year. Think about it, OK?
New Thread is considering coming, and I told Green Eyes last night. Wish we could get Cinders to come over, she's not that far.
Yes,Bird, I love that pic of the stream. It's looking downstream from the lower edge of my property, just a couple hundred feet from the covered bridge. One summer my girls got a round, blowup swimming pool and would 'shoot' the rapids there! :H

Well, the flight situation not looking too good prices range from ?482 - ?1236 - looks like it may not happen but will keep looking :upset::upset::upset: I am applying for my visa waiver just in case! Its crazy because if I lived in the USA and was booking a flight home it is half the price!! Don't understand that one!

Yes, I noticed the same thing Pan when I was checking.
The last pic is actually Jack, with his long hair brushed back. It was when he first started riding without training wheels and tried out a big hill!
The others were last December, at the cabin. We had SO much fun. The first is a stepstool I made and painted. One of my fav peices.

Happy Friday! I'm so happy to have phone and internet service back! Sunshine, you are so precious and special, don't you dare apologize for caring about me or anyone. Your big, compassionate heart is such a blessing to everyone! I love you so much. You know how when you hear someone complain, you are only hearing half the story. I was just trying to take blame for part of the problem. I am far from perfect, just like hubby! Thank you all so much for caring about me! I should not complain so much. I am just struggling along like everyone else. Ruby, he KNOWS better than to make me choose between him and my dog and he is not making me choose between my friends and him. He just wants a little time and attention, too. That is not unreasonable. He is happy I have found this site because he has seen all the wonderful changes in me! Roger, you lived with us for 8 days. What do YOU think? Give it to me straight. Oh, Ruby, that stream looks like Heaven! I can't wait to go and will be coming alone. Grateful, I have a huge house, but really all I do is keep the floors clean, the dishes done and the laundry caught up. Most of the time, I am picking up behind the two of us. I am so sorry YOU are in so much pain. You've had this infection for weeks now and don't even complain! I need to learn from you! I love you all so very much and I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to have friends that truly care about me. Everyone I didn't mention is included in that. Whew, one big errand out of the way. Had to drive to the other side of the next town and clean up some bills from the last tenant, stop by the grocery store for some necessaries. (I should own stock in TP with 5 granddaughters!). Now another 25 mile roundtrip to the bank to make a long overdue deposit, and by then, Hubs will be home and time for dinner. I need a personal assistant. Only those with Rottweiler batheing experience need apply.

everyone sounds good....that makes me happy....I cannot seem to shake an overbearing feeling of exhaustion....I take my vitamins and i try to eat right, and i am sitting here about to fall asleep. if this keeps up I am going to go have my thyroid checked....aaarrrrgh....

well vicky you know how i feel ...you keep your house messy as hell trash all over the house and god you should see the yard ... oh ok the truth girl ... as a bystander ... awesome house it doesnt need to be clean all the time just when you have me work for ya .. doing anything in the kitchen .. paul keep the yard nice and grass cut .. beside that can do without the red ants .. and i feel you should take more care of you .. you do way to much in my eyes but that just the way i feel .. love ya girl ..

i would ruby ...but there a problem with it being in the sun ..the firberglass works great and the from is shinking ... not a probleem with it floating at all just when you leave it out in the sun and unsidedown the botton shink and shows all the bumps .. not holes or anything like that ... still in working progress think it might be the color green might be alittle dark for it .. trying white .. and as it being safe yes it is unsinkable same design as a boston whaler form everywhere and you can cut it in half and it wont sink and really the amount of wood thats in it ..is only AROUND 10% the rest is form and friberglass mat... but really i couldnt built it as cheap as you could just go out and buy two them .. love ya sis thankx
