Rog, yes, it's yours And you day will come, if I have anything to do with it. You've said your peice, your mom should have no regrets. And CERTAINLY you have none, other than what should have been done for you.
My Daddy's dad fathered 9 children. My grandmother was a saint, truely. She called my big ole Daddy her 'girl', for a long time, because he took on so many of her chores back then. He always made sure the little ones were fed, there was wood in the house, that my grandmother was as comfortable as she could be. She helped him join the Marines, at 16, because she loved him so much. He was found out, because of his age, and had to wait 2 years before he went back into service. When my grandfather was sick, Daddy carried him like a baby, brought him into our home. He had never deserved this care. But Daddy gave it to him, because we could. And I'll never forget what he did.
You don't owe anything to someone who spread his seed without thought of the consequence. You are the man you are because of you. That is the greatest accolade I can give you. And Life WILL get better. I promise.

i love to here great stories ruby and you have seen alot and grow up the right way yes i say the right way working hard for everything you got and the same with your perents ... well got some more news just had to do a drive by for sue .. she hasnt been feeling well and been running back and fourth to the bathroom .. lets just say she lost alot like 20 lbs in a short time and not the right way to lose .. so she in the er waiting to be seen .. when it rains it pours but im fine and glad she ask to go just wish she wouldvt done it sooner .. sorry to be the bearer of bad all around news today .. but hey one thing is life living it sober and with a clear head:beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..

Wow, I missed alot! Ruby, we all love you and would never think you were bragging. You have so much love for your family and your heritage. CONGRATULATIONS on 40 years of marriage! That's a LONG time, twice as long as I have been married to hubs. I totally agreed with your comments. Hubby is my rock aand even though I complain ALOT, he does whatever he can to make me happy. Roger, I am so sorry about your Dad and I will pray for him, but I think Ruby is totally right. You owe him nothing, but I understand your feelings. I'm so excited ya'll love "RG Unsinkables"! I hope you will get out there and enjoy it with your family. God will provide for you, so don't worry or get so restless that you feel down. Be a bum like Paul and watch TV all day! JK, I promise! BTW, you could NEVER leave us! We women won't let you! Grateful, you have such a sweet, beautiful heart of love. I LOVED your sweet post to Ruby. How is your pain? I've been praying that those antibiotics will kill that infection! I was hoping you were going to get some rest this weekend. You were right and I am really trying to get a good, healthy balance in my life and it seems to be working good, hubby is happy and I am really etting alot done and posting a little. Yeah, sunshine, I am so good at giving advice, I just wish I could apply it but I am working on it. You are so sweet and funny. We would certainly not let you go either. We are family, guys. We have a deep bond. I feel totally free to be open and honest, admitting all my failures because I know I'm not going to be judged or thrown out, instead I'm going to get alot of love, encouragement and forgiveness here. I am actually doing so much better in the last few days. I feel good. I'm getting alot done and I'm making a little time for posts and I am sitting down every 30 minutes to smoke and drink a glasss of water with my feet propped up, but I promise, because ya'll all prayed for me, I am no longer waking up in pain or down in the couch in pain, the pain is tolerable and I'm doing really good, so thank you all so much and oh, Lord, please let me keep it up! There is peace and happiness and no alcohol in my life today and I am so thankful! Let's all focus on our blessings and be thankful, then the depression will go away. Ruby, the story about your daughter was so sweet and perked me up! And we are going to church tomorrow and I'm excited! I love you all and hope you have a very special day tomorrow! Hubs came in and showed me how I should clean house. I told him him thank you, but bite me. I can do things once every 40 yrs! No worries, he'll be a dif husband when he wakes up. Just a really annoying day. SOoooo, feeling really mean and nasty, so it's good I'm home alone.

Roger-please let us know about Sue....losing so much weight so fast is not good at all...I hope they run a lot of tests...I'll keep both of you in my prayers. I LOVE the new paint job on your special canoe-you are so talented!!! And I think you might have several people here fighting over where you'll be living if you need to relocate. hi there greatful .. good morning .. well sue is doing fine right now and just restingand sleeping.. they give her meds last night and she has to make a appy with her doc on monday morning and hope to see that day .. just went out to the shop to see what it looks like all dry and with a final coat of resin on top of the paint and it turn grayish green whitish love it even more ... and well enjoy your day girl with your baby and leave grummy alone ...lol:beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..
