    Afternoon y'all.

    I decided to be bold and ask hubs last night what it was like to have a sober wife. He said "Crabby". I know I was crabby when it was 100 degrees out and not raining and I had to water everything every night, but gee whiz.
    So much for a kick in the motivation.
    Go before that fire there, at the altar of your heart
    That fire of who you really are and be consumed by it fully
    Surrender everything into the fire of that love until you are one with that love. You ARE that love.

                OverIt, you are so sweet and I think you are a pretty special angel, too. I'm so glad you came to our site. We all stay close connected so if you ever have a problem, come vent here first. Bird, it's true, every time we drink alcohol, it robs us of several days and a peaceful heart and attitude! I do understand how it is thinking about it all the time, but you can choose your thoughts. It is so hard for me but I am trying to think positive thoughts and not beat myself up all the time. I know it is hard to deny your flesh desires, but it does get easier with every sober day. MB, your husband sounds as sweet as mine and I feel the same way, don't know how or why he puts up with me! Phoenix, I am sure your husband has noticed some great things about your not drinking. He sounds like he may have been having a "crabby" day himself! We can't look out in the world for motivation. They just don't understand what it is like not to drink or give us any encouragement. That's why our little family is so precious to me. We all know, understand and love one another! Let's not forget to pray for Biz. I know they are having a tough day on the anniversary of losing their 5 month old. I cannot imagine. I'M THANKFUL TODAY AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH!                       ribs in the oven with sweet vidalia onions....will smother in bar b que sauce, plus black eyed peas and silver queen corn.....gotta feed hubs tonite since i was such a f up last night.....

                          mama understand one thing the battle is always there ..its just thatI CHOOSE TO NOT LET AL CONTROL ME ..and yes me nerves were highj amp last night think i would have killed the man that cause accident if one or both were hurt in anyway and yes my life right at the moment could be a hell of alot better ,work wise health wise for sue .. but such is life and what happens in life everyday all these up's and downs ..but there one thing you have to understand is that you have choice.. you can choose to let things in life bring you down or you can fight back and gain some control how you want to react to them.. and you have to really want this not for anyone but yourself and rememeber nothing happen over night it all takes time and by making that first 23456789 steps you will understand just what if will take for you to get where you want to be in life .. love and hugs girl im always here for you and everyone ...__________________

I can't figure out how to put your message in this stupid little box You think some of the gang would explain it to us idiots. :scratchinhead: And just for the record I am always horny! :bigwink: Well, it sounds like you've got the perfect evening planned out. See, having a nice sober night with hubby aint so bad, is it? Kinda fun sometimes. I wish so bad my husband would stop drinking or atleast drink every other night so we could actually spend more time together watching TV and stuff, but he's always gone by 6 or 7 so my nights get kinda lonely, but I am reading the greatest book ever so that is nice. Anyway, I have no control over him or his drinking, only me. I picked muscadines today and made 5 pints of jelly. It was so much fun. I hope everyone had a good day. Where is everybody?
