Mama - you did 7 days, that's an accomplishment. Don't let one small stumble derail you, sweetie! Get back on and get yourself a plan.

A plan is what I am working on myself. Hubs will be gone until Sunday and I have never been sober when he has been gone. This will be the toughest struggle I have faced yet. I am at Day 12 today and feeling wobbly in my resolve. I actually went to the grocery store before work as I know if I went after work it would be too tempting. ARGHHH!!!!!

Stay strong! you have come way to far to let a little voice tell you you are not strong enough - 12 days - go for 30! Also, I know Ruby is on around 8:00, Rusty-576 is there as well. She is the best. She helped me a lot when I was weak. They both are great women and very caring and understanding. They love to joke and go on in chat, I know it really helps you feel like being with them instead of a bottle. Truly your best choice to go into chat than drink.
Good luck to both of you. Dont give in!

Good Morning all. Well, I have bounced back - as Ruby said, no-one can make me feel as cross as I am with myself. However, it is but a momentary blip and today is a brand new day!! I thank all of you for your support - the PM's helped a lot and Ruby - I had this picture in my mind of you in the midst of piles of papers!! Now I have to tell my Brother- that is going to be hard as we stopped together. Anyway, I am raring to start again - the thing is I did it to get that first feeling that we get when we have that first drink - and was crying 'cos I was actually drinking so couldn't enjoy the feeling anyway!!!!

Bird - like MB, I too am a BC survivor - I am 3 1/2 years out now and had many false scares earlier in my life. The waiting is the worst part of the whole thing. I do know how you are feeling. PM me if you want to.

MB - so you too had a drink last night - it is a hard road to follow at times isn't it, but we can do this - are you up for an AF today??

PR - I am not one to talk, but check in here if you feel the urge to drink - how long if hubs gone for and when does he leave? Go to chat - post and ask if anyone is around if no-one is in chat - or call me - I will PM you my number!! DON'T DRINK. Oh - laughed at your idea of doing jumping jacks - I have a broken foot!! But thanks for the idea.

Ruby - you and I are definitely sisters - I too am a real stop at home hermit - hate having to go out! Talking of going out - October is not good for me - partly 'cos of having to use my time off now with this foot and also 'cos of Maggie - she would have to come with me. I can't leave her at home as she is not well. In fact I am booked to go to UK in Jan and am thinking if she is still around then that i might have to change my date of going!! Anyway - Ruby - when is court day? Anyway - I am going from one topic to another - sorry - but May would be much better as hopefully I will have some leave to use! My leave year starts in Jan. I am having to use it after my sick leave and personal days for my time off now.

I am waffling so will get going - oh, love all the duck talk - and the duck pictures, amazing what Tony comes up with no matter what the conversation isn't it - you are a sweetie Tony!!

I agree with Rog - I do have some of your numbers but would need to look them out and try and find them. I also read your story T - inspiring isn't the word for it - you are amazing to have come as far as you have from where you were. I will borrow some of your strength if that is okay?? As for those who say "if I can do it anyone can" it should be replaced with "if Rog can do it anyone can" . HOW in heavens name did you get yourself out of it and to where you are today??

So - who is the Emergency Director? we need a plan for happenings like last night - for happenings that happened to Me, MB and Bird too! I take full responsibility for what happened to me and am back full on !!!!!! Watch out AL.

hi there sunshine... wel thankx .. many of our Journeys are deffrent but the same in some ways weather drugs and al .. but for me i had to loss alot and win alot back and see the bigger picture of life not as one but a whole and knowing what i want in my life .. who when and where i go as a person is all in my hands and thats the key... knowing what you want and really want to change the things in your life.. people places and things and its all how you want to handle what comes your way.. the good the bad and yes the ugly love and hugs and have a great day everyone
