Thanks, Grate. Jack is in the 98% for size in his age group, and Ry's family are all short. The boy's wrestle and fight like all brothers, but Jack makes sure no one else bothers Ry.

Hubs is seriously considering selling his Harley. Seems ANOTHER work friend of his was riding yesterday with his wife and crashed. Killed the wife, and the man lost his leg, and other serious injuries. He says riding is just not what it used to be for him, and it's not as much fun since it's difficult for me to ride very long. Can't say I'll be too sorry to see it go, since I worry about him all the time when he's riding. He's the ONLY person I would ride with, but it's the other crazies, and animals, that scare me.

This morning I looked out and a mother wild turkey and her poults were by the road. Maybe 10 of them. Female turkeys are very protective of their young.

I'm sorry about your Hubs' friend.....my husband wants a motorcycle so bad - but he used to ride (many, many moons ago) and the last time he rode was when his sister was driving him and they crashed and she died...he was lucky to live but will never forget watching his sister die in front of him.
I agree with you that I would trust him...but it is all the other crazies on the road that scare me!

Ruby - so sorry about your Hubs friend's wife - and him for losing his leg - I know that one of the things that freaks me out with my bike is animals running out in front of me - I have had cars pull out before and that was many years ago - cars just don't see bikes! It is something I am so aware of. The cleaner where I work lost his leg too in a motorcycle accident ...... makes me wonder if I am crazy keeping my motorcycle sometimes.

Biz - great to hear from you - I agree, that water sounds so very cold. Ruby - the pic of the grands is so cute! They all seem to be going back to school early this year. IAD - laughed at your picture - as always!

Maggie got an estrogen shot, a steroid shot, and some fungus cream - it is hell getting old! Dear old girl. I do love my vet though - he is great - he also did some mini-lipo to show me that her swelling on her side was fatty tissue and nothing else! Now I must go to the P.O for my brother then I am coming home and taking a nap before going back to work!

I hope everyone is having a good day. Today is the very beginning for me. I WILL QUIT DRINKING!!! Kids are gone, Paul starting to stumble around, the house is a wreck, but I am not going to do a thing today but rest! Got about 10 pounds of okra that needs picking. I'm just too exhausted and in unbearable pain! I'm sorry I worried everyone. I drank all weekend and I am terribly depressed and frustrated with my worthless self! Roger, thank you for your call this morning. I'm sorry I ended up crying on your shoulder. Thank you for caring about all of us. You are so wonderful and we all love you so much! I'm sorry you have been sick. Ruby, I WILL try my very best to "follow your rules". I do need someone to help me. I feel like such a worthless failure! I have got to learn how NOT to keep setting myself up for failure. MB, I'm sorry I missed your call. I did not charge my cell all weekend. Do you not have my house phone? Sunshine, don't beat yourself up. This really is a hard road to travel, but thank God we have each other to help us. Grateful, I'm sorry I haven't answered your pms yet. Vick, the very last thing you are is worthless. You are invaluable. From one who only knows you on the phone, and this site. We fall, we fail, but thinking of ourselves without value is just totally counter-active.
We think you're beautiful. Hard working, trying to be all to everyone, nature lover, caring mom and husband. But until you get it in your pretty head you are worthy, this awful self-condemning will continue. We are all beautiful. We all are worthy. I have problems with that too, but I'm working on it, along with my other faults. Still don't like that Hubs feels like he needs to take over the 'protection' area of my life! I can still kick
Hard to let others help, that's my problem, and obviously yours, Vick! Take them up on the offers, and make demands. I'm learning it's not a sign of weakness, but of cooperation. Everything doesn't have to be perfect. (except my grands! :H)
