Sunny, from the mouth of experience, let your foot heal. I'm telling you, even though I tried so hard to tow the line, was in MY wheelchair for months. Still have lots of foot, ankle, and leg pain. I cheated too. But to really heal, insist on new X-ray. I finally told my first doc to X-ray my leg, whether he believed me or not. Same with my ankle. I had 7 broken bones, and he kept telling me to walk more on it to heal it. Put in a titanium scew. Then he dismissed, me said I was 'well'.
Got a new doc, just down the hall from the first. Within an hour, I was in a new cast, wheelchair, etc. First doc saw me coming down the hall from 2nd, and his jaw literally dropped.
From late January, till maybe August, I could not put weight on my foot and leg. After 2 surgeries, two weekly appts, in August I found I could walk on it. But you know how the weather affects our bones?
Don't in any way think I want to disturb you. Just my experience, and yes I was drinking then . Still, I hobble. But you are younger, and you do NOT want to experience this forever. I had 7 breaks, some through and through.
Take CARE! Nothing is worth a constant pain. I know you're bored, but do the right thing, OK??
Lesson learned here. Terrible price though. Take care of yourself, OK??
More ironing to do, if I don't fall asleep!!!
