So glad to see you all doing so well!! Panno-congratulations on your 3rd grandchild...do you know if it is a boy or girl yet? I am missing my granddaughter, Addison. It was hard leaving her yesterday, but I feel blessed that I was able to spend a few days at the beach with her & my daughter, Becky. Quality time for us without the men around.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and hopefully Vicki is having a great time seeing her old pastor......I can't wait to hear from her when she gets back.

And welcome Angelica. Been spending time with my cancerous tumor guitar player friend recording and jamming. Think he's gonna be ok sounds like from his wife but I don;t think he thinks so . Well kids had a friend over last night and they are up already thanks to the rooster standing at the door crowing....one of my kids addicted to wii legend of zelda. The other addicted to facebook. Guess there are worse things they could be addicted to. Looks like rain the frogs are going nuts, gotta ride bike before it starts....good day to all..b

After a terrible nights sleep, Papa Bear is dragging me out of bed to go to the lake house. His parents are in their 80's, so we try to take care of the place for them. And then we get to eat one of Nana's fabulous Sunday dinners....

Not much happening here. Still trying to work the kinks out and get started. Don't know why I'm dragging so lately.
How long were you on chat last night T? Poor girl.
My e-mail is screwed up, so here's the recipe for The Lukester:


MISSISSIPPI MUD BROWNIES

1/2 c. cocoa
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1-2 c. chopped nuts
Miniature marshmallows

Melt the butter and cocoa. Add sugar and eggs. Next add flour and nuts. Mix well. Pour into 13"x9"x2" pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. While hot, cover top of cake lightly with marshmallows. Put chocolate icing on top of marshmallows.

CHOCOLATE ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1/3 - 1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients well and spread over top of marshmallows.
(PS: You could just use a brownie box mix and top it with the rest.)

Don't let him eat them all at once!

Good morning everyone - sounds as you are up and busy this morning already. Grateful, that was so nice that you enjoyed your time at the beach with your daughter and grand. Bird - I am so impressed with your motivation with your bike riding. How far do you go each morning? MB - you enjoy your day - having a meal cooked for you by someone else has to be a plus in my book!!!! Rubes, as a rough guess, you are dragging because you have been so stressed lately - maybe you need to just slow down, smell the flowers - do you meditate? It can really help.......and any meditation works!! Just try a few minutes a day.

Angelica - as the others have all said, welcome - please check in again with us - we are a great bunch, at varying stages on our journey and can offer all manner of help and loads of support.
