          hey sweet family....just home from the lake and watching TRUE BLOOD...it rocks!!!!
          Sunni- what's wrong baby.....can u mod and be happy??? What do you mean by "feel good"..happy wise or free from pain wise??? I'll send you my number if you want to talk....though I am not the bext person to talk to since I am not AF...but I am in a good place now...except for extreme poverty....
          Jeez oh pete....are ya'll ok....poor little Gracie must have been terrifed and it sounds like Tinks could have gotten killed!!
          We mowed from 10 until to 4...the tractor went down so we had to push mow almost three acres....
          thank heavens it wasn't so dang hot...Papa, me and Heir #2 took turns...I pulled weeds for hours and picked 3 grocery bags of pears...I have lots of pears left if anyone wants me to send some....I peel them and cut them up and put them in the pressure cooker with butter, water and brown sugar.....yum. I'll be happy to send some out if you want them....I have two more trees to harvest...and the scuppernogs and muscadines are ready to be picked next week...
          we saw two black snakes and a huge group of wild turkeys...over 40 of them...it was cool.
          Being out in nature helps me cope with everyday life....it is such a nice relief...
          Papa and I even talked about selling everything and moving to the lake house...it's paid for and all we would have is power and phone....BUT...it's an hour out in the country and the boys have school...so itn will be a while before we can run away and hide in the woods....
          ok...gotta go concentrate on my show...

            I'm FINALLY home! I'm completely exhausted, but I DID IT, I DID IT, my first trip back home that I stayed sober! I'm 7 days AF! I had a great time, but haven't slept much in the last 2 days so I'm going to bed. I can't wait to catch up and see what all has been going on with you guys! Love ya, Vicki

              MB, I'm hoping to start getting our pears in a week or so now. Our second crop of figs are coming in, so I'll be making preserves, then pear relish and pear preserves. We have 3 trees too. Last year not one pear. We had a late hard freeze. One of my trees was planted by my great grandfather, and I inherited that land. Yes, I'm still shaken by what happened to Tink. If Grace hadn't acted so quickly she (and me!) would have gone under the tire. True Blood was great tonight! Something big is about to happen!

                    Hi Everyone, thought I would jump into your world!! Just new here, only been here for a little over a week, but reading posts and hearing what everyone has to say makes me feel less alone. Hey Sun--I hope you are feeling less blue and that your day is going better!! And Vicky--good for you girl for staying AF for 7 days--especially with being around your family--Amazing!!

                    I have been wine free now for 7 days--so instead of drinking a bottle of wine, I have a beer (which I don't really like all that much) I am hoping I will be AF soon. But I have to tell you, I do love waking up in the morning without a hang-over.

                    Hey MB your country house by the lake is my dream world!! We live in the country, but no lake. Actually, I met someone who said that there use to be a pond on our property...so I am hoping to dig for water soon.

                    Just trying to keep busy....to say wine free.

                        Good Morning everyone! New day! Welcome Wonka, to our little family here - nice to have you join us. I smiled at the thought of you digging for water!! I also feel a tad better today.
                        As I said - as I say - a NEW DAY! Well done being wine free!!

                        Anyway, not much time - have to run to get to the Monday morning meeting but will be back in a couple of hours. Up and at 'em!!

                          ok...at work...SO TIRED
                          I think I may have to stop the Baclofen and do this on my own
                          After three sleepless nights, dizziness, and a "swooshy" feeling in my head...I am not sure I can take it any more
                          the lack of sleep is killing me...I laid and stared at the clock till 3:30 this morning and I am a zombie...

                            good motning .. welcome wonka ..just take but one day at a time ... have a great day at work sunshine and mama .. mams i dont know much about the meds but i did this cold turkey and well its hrad but worth every step .. maybe you back off the meds and try taking some sleep aid for a few nights ..some advil pm or melatonin .. but anyway have a great day one and all love and big big hugs .. ruby get your ass up girl ...lol

                              MB, sorry about your problems with sleep. Like I've told you, hon, I think (IMHO) it's a combination of things. And since you say you're not af, al intensifies the affect of bac. So does stress. And bac IS primarily a muscle relaxer, you know. Be careful.
                              Sunny, so glad you're day is brighter. It usually is!
                              Slept really hard last night, so don't know if that's good or not but it's a new day! Off to see what it holds.

                                good morning everyone. I got to sleep in today....and for another 8 days before I start work again--I am a sr. high school English teacher (who has terrible spelling--probably because I graduated in physical education). Thanks for the warm welcome!! Mama Bear(I love your name--that was the name of my favorit cat--smile every time I read your name...brings back sooooooooooooooo many great memories) MB I don't really no much about Baclofen, sorry you feel soooooooooooooo bad on it. Did your Doc. tell you what to expect? I have an apt. with my Doc. next week. I was going to talk to her about my drinking and my want to stop for good (up to now, I haven't been honest with her) I was hoping to talk to her about Baclofen and give it a try--any advice? tirgs--stopping cold turkey WOW--did you stop the first time you tried?--this is my first time trying and I don't want to fail.

                                Okay gang, don't work too hard today. I am going for a run with my dogs before it rains cats and dogs. Check in later.
