Bird, my addiction is diet coke. (Ask T!) So today I made a big pitcher of green and raspberry iced tea, sweetened with Stevia. Now I love that stuff. SO much better than the artificial sweeteners, and its natural. Can't drink hot stuff during the day here, it's already hot enough!! Plus, kicking the caffeine may help my sleep, and this is cheaper.
The guy I got the judgement on did not file an appeal, and didn't call as I asked him to make arrangements, so later this week I'll be going to court again to garnish his wages. Feel bad for him, but after all the stuff he said about me, and the condition he left the house in, too bad for him. At least he has a steady job of 22 years! I'm getting so hard-hearted.sigpic

haha, I have drank half a gallon of blueberry breeze green tea today. dont likke sweet tea though just lemon. Still may cave before days out. Fell asleep in hammock, giant spider web above and giant spider, Had to relocate with broom.Comment

Well, I FINALLY caught up reading all the posts on 3 threads and I'm glad everyone is doing well. I missed all of you so much! I desperately need a laptop so I can always keep up. It was a WONDERFUL weekend! I enjoyed seeing my old pastor and old church friends so much! Pastor told me he really wanted to come back home and he really needed my help, which I gladly offered, but now realizing I am not physically able to help him move back and start a new church. Besides, I'd have to leave my hubby, cause he aint moving outa these woods! It was so great to see so many old friends and I forgot just how much I love people! I haven't laughed and talked so much in a long time, but it completely exhausted me! I only slept 3 hours the first night and 6the next and with all the activity and family drama, I have never been so exhausted! I feel as if I have been run over by an 18 wheeler and lived! Coming home felt so good, made me appreciate our nice, quiet life we have down here!
Time, so good to see you again and welcome to our family, Angel and Wonka! Wonka, tlrgs (Roger) is a rare exception! Most of us have a few falls before we are strong enough to stand firm against the demon of alcohol! We will be here cheering you on though. Biz, so happy you had a great time with your family! Paul and I are going to Mexico 11/27-12/4 (we'll be there on my birthday). Paul would love for you to come and go diving with him at Cozzumel! Panno, great news about the new grandbaby. Sure wish I had one. I have to dress up my little Chloe instead! Sunshine, I hope you are doing okay. Does drinking really make you feel good when you are hungover and hate yourself the day after? Is it really worth it? You know alcoholism is a progressive disease and only gets worse on you with every drink. Focus on all the reasons you wanted to quit. Ruby, so thankful you, Gracie and Tinks were okay! MB, those muscadines and scuppers sound great! We had a 40 year old vine at our old house that really put out. I made 50 quarts of jelly every year and gave everybody I knew some. Girl, that is EXACTLY what we did, kids got grown, we moved to the woods and they were forced to grow up, best decision we ever made! Grateful, Tony, Bird, everyone else...hope you are doing good! I decided after not being able to sleep because of the pain that I would take the pain pills. I took the first one last night and was able to sleep all night, but have been sleepy all day! Ugh! Oh, sorry... CHERRIES IN THE SNOW RECIPE:
Beat 2 (8 oz) cream cheese, 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c milk. Then add in large container of cool whip and beat until well blended. In a tall, large glass bowl, pinch up an entire angel food cake and pour mixture over cake. Then add a can of cherry pie filling on top.
When I made this last weekend for son's birthday, I added a can of chunk pineapples and a small bag of pecan pieces into whipped mixture and it was too fine!I'm not what I should be, I'm not what I could be. I'm definetly not who I want to be,

Vick, you needed that sleep, so being a bit groggy the next day is worth it. I got your message, made contact, thank you! I'm so glad you had such a lovely time, but yes, think about your own health and limitations, girl. Can't see how you could take on any more.
Dinner's almost ready (Hubs pleaded with me not to make chicken again :H) so have to finish that and clean the kitchen, then I start in on this office. At least I can check the computer while I'm working. My big dogs worked their magic and ended sleeping by my bed last night. Lord love 'em, I couldn't make them leave.
Got to get some stuff to make your recipe (old times pronounced it 'reseep'). That's dif from any of the others I found, more like a trifle. Hubs will love it, but probably even more if i make it 'Strawberries In The Snow'. Everyone here loves strawberries. Love to get creative. Oh, and my good friend and neighbor has a muscadine orchard. I want your recipe for jelly, mine never seems to jell right.
Tink has run me crazy today with her rubber chicken, wanting to play. Besides getting my money, I've set up plans to get the rest I'm owed, ordered a HVAC check of the 2 houses, got one house measured for the carpet needed, cleaned my house and made dinner. Start soon on the cleaning.sigpic
