Is she under a lot of stress? Stress can really mess our bodies up!! Ruby-it sounds like you had a lovely day....and I absolutely love the pictures of your daughter & her family. Wow-your granddaughter is all muscle and such a beauty. Panno-I have never watched True Blood either but maybe I should...it sounds good! Fennel-nice to see you here! MB-you really do a lot of work at the lake house. It so nice that your "boys" still like hanging out with their Mom & Dad...not too many teenagers these days are like that.

MB, that's the hardest, and the best, word a parent can say, when they mean it. Children need boundaries, or they grow up to be adults who don't appreciate them. Not to limit them; my grandchildren have NO limits, but we DEMAND respect, and good behavior. My son's girls brought their maternal cousin over with them once, and she was constantly running in the house, screaming. Hubs stopped her,finally, and told her he'd told her enough to stop. Grace, in only her little way, said, 'I done TOLD her she better listen to Poppa!' (Don't laugh, she's in the gifted program now. All my girls are!!) (Another brag!!!! - Sorry :H)
I went to the bank, handled business, to the grocery to get ice cream and jam making supplies, to check out an applicant's work record, while there got a call from son to drive 20 miles to Maddie's school to pick her up b/c she's sick, home to this terribly messy house, picked more figs, and making Maddie lunch now. She's already in her PJ's, enjoyed listening to my books on tape (never knew about them before), and it's just lunchtime. I REALLY should get busy!
Tony, love, where are you? And our MIAs, we're coming to get you, muahahaha!! Good to see you here, Fennel! Check in with us more, OK? I'm gonna finish Mad's lunch, then clean kitchen and make jam. Sure am glad I'm a sober Granny now, or where would my baby be? I have her tucked into the leather reclining couch in front of the big screen, covered with dogs :H, and told her to order a movie if she wants. She doesn't like to miss school, b/c there's so much to make up at her level, so I believe her when she calls. Wish that school wasn't so DANG far away. OK, time to actually get busy.

Hi everyone - late today - had Monday morning meeting at work then had dental appt then ran errands and am now home - going back to work in a couple of hours. Grateful - I have goldies cell phone number and will PM it to you. they are 6 hours ahead of me - not sure what they are ahead of you, and I keep missing the time to call her. I have to call the Doc tomorrow am at 6.30 to try to get a same day appt so will try to remember to call her then if I don't have to rush out for said appt!

Ruby - you are busy aren't you? Didn't your ice cream melt? Vicki - love your little poems! Sorry your hands were hurting. Rog - where are you - and more to the point - WHERE is Tony? he used to be here so much with his funny pics, making us all laugh......maybe he doesn't like all us new people here....

MB - sounded like had such a fun day at the lake house yesterday! And yes, B & N is a fun place to work - apart of course from the customers at times!! LOL The Rolling Stone mag with the True Blood cover we were out of in 5 minutes flat - I thought it was way OTT personally. WAY OVER THE TOP! Maybe I am a prude, but that was way too much!! I don't watch True Blood - I think now I know why!!

Oh - hubs asked me yesterday how much time I thought I spent on this website!! LOL - He doesn't mind at all - but just asked. I am still titrating up with the Topa and am thinking it should kick in this week - I really do hope it does.

Biz - Panno, hi to you too - hope everyone has a great day today. Grateful - I must remember to PM you that number.

T, I HATE those 'drink this' tests. They are NEVER gonna be fun!! They'll be looking down one way, up another! YEEE-UCK!!! When I had them, I felt like if I opened my mouth in the wind, I would WHISTLE! Sunny knows I'm messing with her hubby. No guy on here craving a man-toy! :H Like I said, Hubs would be outrunning the pack!! But I love to joke with him about it, and all the men in family. Nothing wrong, if that's what floats your boat, but Hub's would sink in an instant.
I really feel tolerance is the way to live. No judgement, but DANG! Let's laugh at each other on the way. So I may get hate mail, but life is to short not to laugh.
My bestest friend in rehab was the most beautiful, young, gay man I'd ever met. I'd love to have him around now. He is ADORABLE! I told him I'd fix him if he thought he was messed up. Didn't happen, and I'D have run if he took me up on it. It's just people are lovely, when left alone, to live their lives, and not F with others.
While many can have religious objections, but it's not our decision to make. Opinions are great, kept to ourselves. God deals with each person on HIS level. So, let's laugh. I'm a dyed in the wool redneck, and don't give a fig about the jokes.

Yeah to each his own I don't care religion race or sex pref. were all different. lucky to or all would be boring. Had to go to dentist and missed bike ride, but have clean teeth. Not much goin on and where is IAD??Hope all aches and pains get better for all and a good rest of the day....bird
