      I shared this on chat the other night, dont think I did here. (But with my Swiss cheese memory, who knows?) Daughter lives a gated community, but with the real estate bust, there are only 4 houses on their street, and lots of woods, near Lake Lanier. They have a very nice porch overlooking the woods in the back, and the other morning, Jack was out there when he came in excitedly and got everyone to come out and see the doe and fawn below them. They were standing there, very quietly, when Jack leaned over to my daughter and said in a loud, urgent whisper, 'Momma, go get me a gun!' I don't know whether to laugh or worry over it, but I choose to laugh. (They had a talk with him about the seriousness of firearms, the dangers, etc., but he's already made my son promise to take him deer hunting!)
      The nuts (and rednecks) don't fall far from the tree, I guess. :H

        YAY...Tony is back!!!!!
        Ruby I am on my way for dinner cause my measly pork chops and rice is boring now!!!!

              Tony, we are SO HAPPY to have you back! :clapclap: We missed your humor so much! I tried to post a funny but only Sunshine thought it was funny! :scratchinhead: Sunshine, you keep up with the facts in your mind, don't you? What a gift! The truth is I have troubling remembering and keeping up with everyone's life immediately after I read it. :question2: I've realized lately I'm eventually gonna be blind, death and dumb because it is happening alot sooner than I thought. :confusedmonkey: I have been feeling kinda lonely, like I'm talking to myself here sometimes.                   MB, I also made turnip greens, sour dough rolls, sliced tomatoes and onions. Got lots of leftovers!

                          I have really been craving a drink tonight, fortunately it was after hubs went to sleep. I got to thinking about it and I am seeing the vicious cycle I am in. I go 3 or 4 weeks feeling great, absolutely no desire for alcohol, feeling so encouraged and convinced I was finally free! Then for no apparent reason, I start feeling emotional, sensitive, alienated, like I'm not good enough, like no one likes me, especially my husband and the list goes on and on. After feeding on those thoughts and feelings for a while, I always end up drinking, so I've got to figure out a better way to handle thiese building triggers so I can stop this vicious cycle. Forcing myself to be happy when I feel sad. Forcing myself to be encouraging when I feel so discouraged. I know it is the right things to do to help yourself but I'm just not sure I have the energy right now. Ever since my hubby said he needed a break from me, I have been working really hard and carrying all my weight and some of his, but he still aint happy! I wonder if he even notices all my hard work. The bottom line is I get physically and emotionally "tired and worn down" and ultimately that is why I always drink. Does anyone have the answer? I keep stumbling all over it! I'm so ready to get off this roller coaster!

                              Just do your best without killing yourself. And understand this IS a cycle with AL. It's VERY common, too, but you recognize it, so you can find ways to beat it. We'll help you. You sound so down, and AL will only make it 10X worse.

                                Bird.....actually I did play the trombone ! It was quite funny cause I use to play in the Marching band....once I joined the football team...I had quite the dielma ! Ha! I ended up on the football team.....but I really loved playing the trombone....IAD
