vicky you have no idea how offen i feel the same ways and even more so right now ,,like i have done things wrong and did something to someone to not have my phone ring in over three weeks now .. but i think and i try to stay busy .. and i know its not anything i did in anyway ...i just know times are hard and something i have to deal with ...sick of being sick;943165 wrote: I have really been craving a drink tonight, fortunately it was after hubs went to sleep. I know it is the right things to do to help yourself but I'm just not sure I have the energy right now. Ever since my hubby said he needed a break from me, I have been working really hard and carrying all my weight and some of his, but he still aint happy! I wonder if he even notices all my hard work. The bottom line is I get physically and emotionally "tired and worn down" and ultimately that is why I always drink. Does anyone have the answer? I keep stumbling all over it! I'm so ready to get off this roller coaster!

vicky you are doing your best trying to stay sober in a not so sober world your hubby .. and just know its not you .. you say you have talk to him well keep talking .. there something deeper that he might need to get out and off his chest .. and as for you keeping a clean house you know how i feel ...your house is awesome .. you are a hard working lady .. and you should be proud of yourself girl ...and you better rememeber that:beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..

Vicki....how about when you get those feelings you call one of us...you can call me anytime, sweetie, and we'll talk and commiserate together about how our hubs are still drinking in front of us, etc. It is not easy at all - but it is so worth it to remain AF. Just think how much stronger we are than our hubbys because we don't need that poison. You may feel alone...I know I do too...but we're really not alone. We can always call on our friends here and of course, we have God. Your faith is so much stronger than mine - keep calling on Him even when you don't feel like it. I love you so very much and I am blessed to have you as a friend - don't ever forget that!!!
Mama Bear-are you up and ready for another work day? I hope you have a good one and that it is an easy day for you.
IAD-you old tromboner, you. So glad to see you back.....when does your daughter leave for college? This is her 1st year, isn't it? Well, I'll be thinking of you & your wife-you must be so very proud of her.

Morning Sweet Family...
Vicki...I feel the same way you do lots of times...I always seem perky and goofy, but that is my way of dealing with life. Plus you have the added burden of diabetes and pain.....I cannot imagine dealing with that. But Grateful is right...call one of us. And I DAILY remember all I am grateful for...a loving marriage, two beautful children, all of you here, supportive in laws that help us financially and with unconditional love....sometimes that is ALL that gets me thru the day. Times are tough for alot of people right now, me included, and the whole mood of the world is kind of gloomy if you ask me. And everyone here is right...it's not YOU...marriage takes two...not one.
Hope everyone has a good day. It is gloomy and rainy here and a perfect day to wallow in bed, but, alas....have to be a work.

Morning peeps. Come on everyone, get up and blow the stink off! I look around at all the stuff that needs doing and I get depressed too. But I refuse to give in to it, so I'm GOING to have a good day, dang it! I take a 15 minute 'vacation' when I need it; sit down with some tea and look a videos and pics of the cabin, Sautee-Nacoochee, read the local newspaper there online, check the local art center and state parks for upcoming events. It REALLY does relax me, the next best thing to being there. (Obviously, I like to post a lot of those links!!! :H) Mind relaxation, meditation, etc. DOES work. If you're not doing it, try it. We are all to overstimulated in today's world. I've always Hubs doesn't suffer from stress, but he's a carrier.
PR, we call those 'cat cookies'. Thank goodness we don't have cats now.sigpic
