Darn it all...I just had a MINOR fender bender when I ran to get lunch..had to wait two hours in the scorching sun for the cop to show up, but my wonderful maintenance man has already punched it back out, so maybe papa bear wont be too mad.....this isn;t funny, but I have never had a fender bender DRUNK.....only sober.....WTF??

Daughter said this morning Abs came down for school in a different outfit than they'd decided. When asked why, she said she gets up on the sink and lies on side, looks in the mirror to decide if it looks good on her. WTF?? She's at a new school this year, has a dif boyfriend every week, so they're trying to keep her focus on studying. And Riley is READING now!! Our little crack baby. If this doesn't prove what nurture can do, nothing can. And Jack is learning the same things, right along with him, so he'll be ahead next year when he starts Kindergarten.
Mentally taxing day, but I'm safe in my hermitage. Starts all over tomorrow.

"Why the long face? " Ha! Interesting day.........First took my daughter to the Doc's....her hip started to ache.....( I told her she had Hip Desplacia........Little Vet joke .. Ha!) Then when I got home i had a call from my wife that the school screwed up my son's class schedule.....had to run up to the old high school to put out that fire. I need a vacation ! Ha! Tony

Wow! Hurricane Grands just swept through the house, telling me all the things they needed, eating constantly, monopolizing the computer, on and on. At least no stories about being scared of their wee-wees, like Jack!! (see previous post) I HAVE to stay up tonight and finish my fig jam or the figs won't last. While I was picking today, a squirrel ran out of the bush right beside me and scared the bejeebers out of me!! AND, the little fecker had a big fig in his mouth as he ran. They've been terrorizing the fig bush, lots of half-eaten, bitten figs. And Berit just looks at them. Not worth her energy, I guess.
