    im not much use to anyone today either Spuds, I had some crappy news and Im trying to process it and stay rational

      Hi Spuddleduck....I have missed you. I had the same kind of night, and I have the same kind of nose as you today. Just the way I wanted to wake up on the first morning back to work.

                            ok a quick vent to see if it helps!

                            I live a very privileged life here, in fact im a complete spoilt brat! I dont work and my estranged husband supports me financially with monthly maintenance which allows me to live comfortably but by no means extravagantly. I have known for some time that some investments he made have gone belly up and I suspected this was coming, he called this morning to say that my mainenance payment has been halved.... well a quick calculation tells me it wont now cover the bills.

                              I'm so sorry! I wish I knew the words to be of comfort to you. Knowing you, you're sober and can think of a solution with a clear head. Is getting a job something that you might have to do with the maintenance payments being cut?
