Now I have been thinking on your above post and I think there are two ways of looking at this, the way you have mentioned and the way I prefer;

You have been sober for 355 days this year. We have all probably spent enough time beating ourselves up over the years, I think you are doing brilliant and prove my point by coming here after that night, telling us and then jumping right back up on the wagon. So many congratulations on 365 tomorrow.

As far as the slide, I posted an article on another thread that points out if we 'Hey, I had a drink. I'm back at the beginning. No hope for me', it makes it harder to realize all the good we did during our sobriety. It's a fall. Climb back on. And congratulations on all that sober time!
