Sorry about your back, KTAB.
Speaking of pain: has anyone seen Jan checking in?Hello everybody.
K - Ditto to what Tips said. A bad back can really be a pain. No pun intended, I have two herniated discs in the lumbar region of my spine. Makes my left hip act up.
As for Jan, if it is a hernia she's suffering from she's going to be having a difficult time doing even the most minor task. And especially difficult to have a young child to look after. And there was something about an inspection if I remember well. I know Mr. Stirly suffered unbelievably with his hernia. The pain is literally crippling.

We were without water for 3 hours today. With temps 100+F. Not fun. A few years ago the main fuse on our electricity meter blew because of the heat. It was 45C - that's 113F. If you haven't experienced that kind of heat, you can't imagine what it's like. Luckily the electricity crew got here within a couple of hours and fixed the problem. For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

The heat has finally gotten to me and I am off for a cold shower and hopefully good company with the Sleep Fairy. I wish you all...
