Tut, I too was a morning drinker, and afternoon, and evening, A year ago (2nd August) I started a detox programme, and stayed AF until 2 weeks ago,(i didn't get drunk but I felt awful) but I came here and posted and stopped again right there.. What I'm trying to say is that IT IS POSSIBLE, with determination and the help of the lovely people here ........ go for it .........

Tut, run off to the store and get yourself some L-Glutamine. If you are in the States, Walmart sells it in the aisle with the bodybuilder protein powders and such. Get the powdered form. It will help with the cravings until your Bac gets here. 1 small spoonful 3x a day.

Mine usually comes in 10 days on the dot. Glad you tossed half the whiskey. And I totally understand why you kept half. :l

PS I saw King Tut in Chicago in the 1980s. Getting in to the exhibit was a major mob scene. Quite the popular fellow, that Tut!! I was quite disappointed that I didn't get to see the actually mummy. Morbid, I know. :H
