argghhhh! just getting over a trauma. lovely pup 'quill' has arrived. she is adorable. been introducing her to pen, ink and shanti cat and settling her in. we sat in the garden and i swear i took my eyes off her for just a second and she fell in the pond. aaaarrrrgggh. she disappeared right under and couldnt see her PANIC!!! i jumped in (its up to my waist) and got the her ou, shaking and bedraggled (both of us). o my god i was in a panic. shes fine now, dried off and asleep but flipping heck, poor little thing will be traumatised (both of us). o the joys of parenthood

Spuds, I used to have a pond where my old blind dog used to take a tumble every now and then, very frightening
