    Army Thread 17th August

Good Morning Army. Just hopping on here to say Starty I am thinking of you and your Mum and praying for strength for you, sweetie. My heart really hurts for you and you are definitely not alone in this. You have so many friends here who are here for you. Love to you.

P.S. Why is it that every time I read the Army thread you all are talking about food???? Maybe you should change the name of this thread? Gosh-I am trying so hard to lose weight and then I get on here and am hungry-LOL! Chill-strawberries in white belgium chocolate.....sounds so good even at 6:57 am!

        Hi Grateful, yoo hoo Mitch.
Hang on while I have a bit of a read back.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Starts, my darling, that's exactly how it went with my dad, :l

Now the reason I can't some to Dublin:
All credit cards maxed, overdraft fecked and we're now in the hands of the CCCS.( a debt counselling service)
Mr JC (bless him) has kept the fact that we were nearly bankrupt from me for nearly 6 months for fear that I may start drinking again.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I'm actually glad it all came out, mind I could have half killed Mr JC. Bit like finally admitting you're an alcoholic and the CCCS are been bloody brill.

JC - I know what you mean, its a relief for me just to admit I have no money instead of pretending to friends everything is ok when its not. I have been totally wreckless booking my flight to Dublin! It was 89 euros and I have to believe that come Oct I will somehow have found the extra I need to come....

Ah you see,Chill, therein lies the problem. My friends (well the two I have left) and the kids know all about it but Mr JC is keeping up this front.

I think its much harder for men because their ego has them believe they are a failure if they cant be the bread winner
