I just signed up for it today and haven't actually started it yet. You can go to radicalforgiveness.com and sign up for it. I have some anger and resentment towards him and he keep pushing the buttons for me so I obviously need to process it.

I think what pushed me over the edge was the thread talking about volunteering when I was having such uncharitable thoughts about him and I thought shit, I don't even want to give my own father my time, much less anyone else. UGH!!

Hi Greenie,

My dad has passed away and I have forgiven him for MOST of the things he said to me but I still carry some resentment...and I absolutely know where you are coming from. My four siblings and my mom had a lifetime of it. If it is any comfort to you, Greenie....maybe your dad will have an epiphany like mine did. My dad was 70 when he saw the light....really regretted the way he treated his family and felt very badly that he did not appreciate his loving wife and 5 children.

Don't beat yourself up about that. If volunteering is meant to be, it will come to you....it's obviously not the right time. I think we all do the best job with the hand that we're dealt.
