So I decide to ask hubs: "So, what's it like having a sober wife"? and know what his answer was? "CRABBY".
Not quite the ego boost I was hoping for. I know I was crabby back when it was sweltering hot out and not raining and I had to water the garden every night, but sheesh....
He did give me the pat on the back rah rah stuff, but I was hoping for a more glowing response. Almost makes it seem not worth it somehow. I know, I'm externally validating, but still.
Back has been hurting like a mo-fo. I actually have a chiropractor appt after work. I've never been before. Should be interesting!

I think Mr JC thought I might behave like a saint when I first got sober (no chance) and I do expect a round of applause at least once a week for staying sober.It could be worse, I could be filing.
