Hi Grateful, kind of you to say but I somehow doubt that

A car boot sale is, I suppose like a yard sale in the USA but you fill up your car or van, drive to say an out of hours school car park, pay a small entrance fee and park up along with loads more other vehicles. Then the general public can come and have a choice of which old crap they can buy.

Ha--"old crap" I completely understand....I guess it would be like a "flea market" here or "farmer's market"........ someplace where you can buy other people's "treasures", right Spuds?

Well not really a farmers market, more a place where ordinary non traders sell on a one off basis to enable a clear out at home or to raise some needed cash. We do have farmers markets where smallholders sell fresh produce, different thing.

Well that's 3 hours and 20 minutes of my life I'm not going to get back.
Despite ringing the mother of me little lad 4 times.....left 3 voice mails and got one answer which was obviously his little brothers. I got there to find no little lad and his mother still in bed. After trailing round the houses looking for him for over half an hour finally got his mother who said he was out playing with friends AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH. So gave his mother a date and time of the next vist.

Other than that, how are we all
It could be worse, I could be filing.

oh and I made an appt at the docs for Tuesday. Bank holiday here on Monday.

Good on you - hope he sorts you out double-time.

Can't I just have a bank, and skip the holiday?
