Morning Folks!
A bad few days here.
My son's girlfriend lost her mum very suddenly on Wednesday. We'd never met her; just the odd wave from the window when I've dropped them off or picked them up from her house. They've been an item for a few years and we'd been talking about going out for a meal to meet her family but we never got round to actually setting it up so the lady was a virtual stranger, but I still somehow feel a little loss; a friend I never met....
I've come down with a kidney infection and my knees are killing me so I've been laying off my running. I found a herbal extract that helps flush out my system and it's working but still really sore. I'm walking around work like I've crapped myself, which the other guys find hilarious, which is OK. If I brighten up one person's day......wankers!! lol. Hopefully, it's better for the round of golf I have planned with these same guys tomorrow, though I don't know why I'm looking forward to it. I'm rubbish, but it's good fun.
The works planned a night out for Saturday. Free booze and a buffet meal, so I'll be filling my face with gratis grub before making my apologies and heading home and leaving them to it. Yet again, one or two people have asked why I don't drink (the thought of saying no to free booze being a completely alien concept to some) and I tell them I don't like it. "But it's free!", one said. I pretend to have a wee think...." Nope! I still don't like it."
Anyway, I'd better get moving, or should that be 'hobbling', along.
I remain bright and cheery, regardless

I've been better KTAB, I'm drained from helping a friend from AA who has fallen off the wagon big style, In true BB style I answered a cry for help on facebook the other night ........ and it's got me in knots ..........
