It's crazy. He's not even a particularly mature kid head wise.
I think his body will mature first like mine did.
I was this 12 year old girl, with these wopping big boobs, which to my acute embarassment, people felt that they had carte blanchE to comment upon FFS........

I just had a bit of a reality check folks. My best mate just called from QLD and 'reminded' me that she has moved out, in the marital sense, and is now occupying a small flat else where.
I have had my head so far up my arse that I lost track of time, and haven't even phoned her.
We alkies really can be quite selfish, can't we ? Even when we're not drinking. Shit.

Yep absolutely, guys.
And re the fits and starts thing....I find I can be organised and thoughtful and aware of other people one week, then off with my pixie friends the next......
My besty is an alcoholic as well. She is further along the track than me , not that it's a bloody competition ! Has been to rehab etc.
I know she WILL understand. But why the fuck SHOULD she ?

That's an interesting concept Reginald.
When we devalue ourselves we devalue others as a corollary effect almost.
And I know that the reverse is also true....value ourselves, value others....
I think there's some ponderance to be done.
I'll see if I can fit it in amongst all my other ponderances.

I think we need more options when it comes to treatment. There aren't many of us who can down tools and go, even though we should.
So it's your AA meeting, or a lock up run by local health services ( at least where I come from anyway)
.....And everyone there would know each other where I come from :H:H:H

Hi guys, agree 100% Reginald, hence my never posting a picture and trying to keep certain personal items personal here...........or it could just be my paranoia............na its the stigma that surrounds it, which when you think about it is bloody ironic when I consider the amount of people I know of that drink like a fish every weekend in a 'social' setting and find it totally acceptable to get pissed. Not to mention the quantity of off licence sales increases here because people cant afford the pub as much.
