It's from one bloody extreme to the other. Heavy rain on dry ground. Washing away topsoil and bugga all absorption. Frustrating. I'll be going bush in next couple of year's, so something for me to consider too.

Hi Ficks I'm traveling to Singapore on Tuesday and not feeling too comfortable about it. The first time taking a trip that long w/o the comfort in booze. Doctor was going to give me a med but I refused. Scared, but hopeful....I think!!!

Hey G , et at, could use some of your God given wisdom. I'm taking a long business trip, my long FIRST trip without drinking! Singapore HSBC. While I have some good sober time under my belt, the allure of meeting clients and closing deal make's me feel vulnerable. I'll be there for two weeks. I know the feedback but just need to hear from the successes. Techie xx

Reggie has the same feelings about flying. I know people who have a store of valium just in case of flying.. even know one lady who pops a sleeping pill before a long flight.. never takes em for anything else! But maybe better to be awake.. just calm & relaxed. What about valerian & b vitamins???

I totally understand your hesitation, but your fear is unfounded, and based on what hasn't happened. Just carry on the way you're going, as you're doing great. Right...how is our time going to be spent in Singapore....2 weeks eh.....PERFECT.

1.A stack of books to take with you, inspirational literature, and of course Ms Jewell for reinforcement.
2. No doubt your laptop....we will be here for you AND...you will be closer to OUR time zone than ever, so we are your back up team this trip. Actually this is gunna be fun. You must check in to the undies thread every night to be silly with us.....PROMISE on your heart....
3. A solid programme of events and places to see in Singapore. The botanicals are supposed to be awesome (I wish , again, that Betty would check in, she's in Singapore)
