      hello all,

well, that was a weird weekend! As we were at the beach, where there is no TV and we generally don't turn on the radio even, we had a fabulous sunny hot and relaxing day yesterday, walking on the beach, throwing a frisbee, kicking a soccer ball and whitebaiting. Drove into the nearest town to get some meat for the BBQ (as there were no whitebait!) and heard the news about the earthquake in Chch. Which was a complete shock as it is the last place in the country that you would expect an earthquake in. Have a workshop to run tomorrow with someone from there - haven't been able to get hold of him, but I'm assuming it is cancelled ...........

Zeppie is the closest MWO person, but I just checked and she (and dogs!) are fine.

When I got home tonight, I found that some stuff had fallen off shelves in the garage .... they were not well secured (we are much more careful inside the house) but it is a bit disconcerting as the suburb we live in is supposed to be one of the safer ones in Wgtn in respect of earthquakes (not on a fault line and high enough to escape tsunami damage). Weather is very weird here too (gusty winds and very strange light in the sky) and I've just replenished the water in my Civil Defence kit. :H:H I'm sure I'm being paranoid but it needed replenishing anyway!

Tawny ..... glad to hear you are okay.

      feeling a bit discombobulated ..........

Hope you're having a relaxing day Bridge. :l

Don't overlook the simple, really effective, medfree stuff like long, slow breathing. Try 10 of em at your own pace. Even 20/ 30/ 50 long slow deep breath's in a private, quiet place, at your own relaxed pace. There's no right or wrong, just breathe.

          In fact, everyone! C'mon now!........

When I gave it to her, it was pristine. She needed something to cover her immodesty.

It is no fault of mine that the fecking squirrel has refused to take it off for over a year.
