I've got me holiday's coming up starting thursday. It would be no trouble for me to pop in for a week and help out. I've got lot's to talk about, and perhap's after helping you sweep away some of that water, we could enjoy my life story over a nice cuppa?

Glad to know it was not major embuggerance Tawny. It is very sad for so many victorians. You have a very lovely frogpond now where your yard was... and I'm hoping it stays that way until it dries up. Wishing you strength and forbearance as I head off into my day.

It only about 5 minutes long. It's just the constant re-telling that i find frustrating. Folk's just don't hear it first time around, i'm sure.

On the vagaries of men… present company excepted of course..

When a woman is in the middle of a DYI job.. A kitchen reno for example.. How come a fella stomps in and says I could give you a hand with that.. but doesn’t… continues to stomp in periodically saying I will do that for you.. That’s a tricky job.. I’d better take care of that for you… I better do that next weekend.. creating the expectation that he might do something.. but continually doesn’t…

Doh! (hits forehead with heel of hand) of course.. He is creating an implied reliance on a fictitious notion of assistance.. a neediness.. In order to be able to withhold something!

Brilliant Ficks! Why didn’t you ever study psychology! (wanders off mumbling something about fish and bicycles and getting the girls around to hang up some kitchen cabinets…)

Hey Ficks - I guess I was lucky. I had the world's best bloke teach me 'boys' stuff' and actively encouraged me to get amongst it. For that I'm eternally grateful.
