you may be eligible for 12(?) free psychologist session's under the 'better health outcomes' program, (You just need a referall from your G.P. i think it's a national program?)if you have been diagnosed with a mental illness. i.e. anxiety, depression. Also, if you have been a victim of crime/domestic abuse, you're probably aware there is a victims of crime assistance place, (the name escapes me at the mo) run by govt. where you can not only claim compo, but psych/counselling services are free too. If your kids being diagnosed with a disability/mental illness in victoria, e.g. Post traumatic stress disorder, you are probably eligible for respite as a carer from, well, it's known as Carer's victoria here, but It's a national org, so you will have one where you are too. I'm sure you know all this and more, but just thought i'd throw it out there in case you've missed something, or spark's an idea.

I know i'm eligible for some assistance but I still have to fork out lots o dosh then try to claim it back. Simply not realistic option at the mo. Will sort something out.. need to really as i am caring for the children so if i'm messed up then it stands to reason it will impact them. Something the funding doesn't recognise.

I must and will try to be more careful of the subject matter i initiate/encourage here. I've just remembered some folk have showed their partner's this site, in an effort to explain why they spend so much time here, and that it is not a pick up joint, but a serious forum for pisshead's trying to help themselves.

Of course, i tried to chat up Ms. startingover when i first got here, and still drinking. I was lucky she was so graceful. So getting sober is the idea. And getting b#%$&n would just be a bonus.
