Electricity back on, and I'm feeling a smidgen better too.

Lily - does your osteoathritis get worse in wet/humid weather?? I second the glucosamine - but I've been told to sure you get with something else (condrioten??) as it helps with uptake.

Hi Missy, I'd never heard of that, just finished googling it, and it does say it helps with joint mobilty, will be getting that too, and yes it does get worse with wet/humid weather.So pleased you are feeling better too though, Lilly x

I have a few lettuces springing up .... must be left over from the seeds that didn't germinate last year :H

I'm definitely feeling better!! Mr B has also been sick and neither of us had anything to eat today .... we just went for takeaways (gourmet burgers). I wasn't sure it was the best idea, but my temperature feels like it has come back to normal :H:H

Blowie = Blowfly. Big, bothersome buggers but they only come around when the weather warms up - so that's a good sign that winter's on the way out.
