Evening,
Hi Rose! How you going? Our turn further south for the sun today, and maaaaagnanimous in it's maaaagnificence it was too! Went a ridin', lunch by the bay, then a noice ride back, and into the joy's of copy and pasting musical arrangement's wif me software. I'm getting the hang of it, and it's bloody dynamite. Err sorry.......Rose, got any chook's, or thinking of getting any, ever had any?
Hang in there Saph. We've got to do the mental work too, med's or not, and cultivate our thinking, and lifestyle to where we want it, and with 50 odd day's af up your sleeve, i suspect you're in a strong position to launch into phase 2. Go for it!
Bridget. What are you up to there?

Evening Bridge and TF.
Sky is cloudy here TF, so only cloud action, and hardly any star's at the moment.

Thanks for the welcome back folks!
Have been going really well. 2 months without overdoing it at all (only the occasional drink when out with others etc - would like to deal with that tho!). Daily drinking off the agenda entirely, which I'm proud of. Still angry in a way, that I don't think I'll be able to drink 'socially' anymore. Am a bit depressed I think, although increasing the antidepressants recently hasn't been the 'magic bullet' I thought it might. So I've gone back to the previous dose. Need to deal with the issues I was medicating with alcohol in the first place, but that's a challenge. Am married to a guy who (with at least a touch of Asperger's syndrome on board) says he thinks I'm 'not attractive', & have been struggling to deal with this for the 30 yrs we've been together. (I'm not that awful to look at!) Feeling pretty down at the moment.

Well that's all you need Rose, your partner telling you you're 'not attractive'! I wonder if since you seem to be drinking less the last 2 month's, you are getting more clarity in your thinking? About where you want to be, or see yourself going?

Yeah, some more clarity!!! I told him a few months ago I'd leave him if things didn't change. He found it within himself to send me loving text messages & say he didn't want to lose me, but this has faded out over the last weeks. If it wasn't for my 15 yr old (youngest child) I don't think I'd still be around (hope not, anyway!). I'm thinking he needs clear consequences, so am planning to move into our spare bedroom soon. As I write this I'm thinking 'you're an idiot ...'
