          Now I am really worried.

Is the toilet still flushing counter-clockwise down there?

          Is Armageddon at our door?

Bridge, congrats on the 5K posts. I think...

Sometimes it's nice to be nice, apparently. Who knew? And why wasn't I told?

                          It's their fault.

The Northern Bridge Programme is a bit of a different one Sapph.
It's were they make you go AF for a long period of time until you feel really good.
Then they send someone around with a bottle of bubbles, and the two of you get pissed, call your ex boyfriends and send lewd emails at 2am.
Then you get to start all over again.:H:H:H
                              Evening all,

Saph, this is the 'Bridge' program that i was jokingly referring to earlier, with respect to the salvo's bridge program. They have one in Melbourne, in abbotsford, or they did a couple of years ago. If it work's for someone, it work's.

Saph, KT, and other's who may be interested, i went to an AA meeting today in central Melbourne. A low key affair, with about 9/10 folk there, all ages, male/female, and went for about an hour. Everyone introduced themselves, at the chairperson'e request, and if you felt like it,shared, which everyone did. Geez, the full spectrum of sobriety really, from i reckon 30 min's for one or two folk, to 30 years. I enjoyed the experience, and it was my 3rd meeting. I actually felt positively charged up when i left, and walked a bit taller, more confident and joyous in my sobriety, and in myself. A worthwhile experience, non judgemental, welcoming, understanding, warm, and raw. It was cool to see a couple of other muso's there too, a bloke from the 'choir of hard knock's', a bloke from an international metal band currently touring here, and me. One younger bloke was at his wit's end, and very shaky, but said he'd decided wednesday that was enough, and is going to attend 2 or more meetings every day, if that what it takes, where his word's. I don't feel i need regular weekly meeting's, but it was of great benefit to me just to attend, be humbled and reminded of where i'd been, and where grog will take us.

Highly recommended. 4 and a half star's Margaret.

'I am part of all that I have met, yet all experience is an arch wherethro', gleams that untravelled world whose margins fade, forever and forever when I move'
