Roger, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the wonderful pep talk. We all need it so bad right now. We all love you so much, Baby! Thank you for calling me today with so much encouragement! You are so awesome! I talked with Grateful this afternoon and she is going through alot of stress, too, so let's all pray for her. Panno, good for you! Your strength is encouraging to us. Sunshine, you are here to get help like the rest of us, not to impress anyone, so do be honest. We all love you so much! I HATE that alcoholism is so progressive and we can NEVER just have one. Hang in there, sweetheart, this is a very tough journey, but we are all here for you and one another and you have my cell and home # so PLEASE call me anytime you wanna talk. MB, good for you! It sounds like Ruby is giving you alot of great advice. Hey, Rubes, we could all use some tough love about now. Well, I am feeling better now. Things aren't quite so dark and I have hope and the willingness to try again. That's all I can do, just take one day, one hour, one minute at a time and NEVER look backwards or forward, just concentrate on the moment. You know I learned alot from this experience. Yes, I was having ALOT of stress. Paul had quit drinking for 6 days and was a real pain and then all this rental house stuff happened and it really hurt my feelings that I trusted someone so much and got so screwed over, and so I wanted a drink. I wanted to numb myself out so I would have a little peace and it was nice at first, but the more I drank, the more I wanted it and the rest is a complete blackout! I used to could drink a fifth, but I got drunk way faster this time. So Roger is so right, we have to LEARN from each mistake we make and get right back up and start again. I'm just so thankful we have family that accepts us with all our baggage, loves us and encourages us. Thank you all and I know God will bless those who help others. Okay, everyday I read a little devotion and today's was so perfect for me and all of us struggling, so if you don't want to read it, that is fine. I just hope it encourages some of us.
