Thanks Sun, you'd think as long as I've been on this site, over 2 yrs., I'd finally GET IT for good, but having soooo many things happen to me one after the other, just about the time I got myself pulled up by the boot straps, I got bowled over again....somedays I can't believe how many friends and relatives I've lost the last few mos., etc., then the court stuff, the doggie.....ughhhhhh....but things could be worse, I know that for certain. I'm soooo blessed to have 2 beautiful homes, a wonderful, loving and sweet hubby, soooo many great friends....like More2 that I met here, she and her hubby I consider in my top shelf of buddies. I'm cancer free so far, and that's a blessing too.....I have to switch my focus to the positive everyday, and be thankful. I have to turn lots over to the Big Guy upstairs, I know he's in the drivers seat, and I need to take my hands off the wheel, I know he doesn't give us more than we can handle, but I'm thinking he's been trusting me too much! I'm giving it the college try, again. Love you all!

OK KIDS LETS WORK TOGETHER and start a plan ... i know everyone think sence they had a drink or got drunk they have somehow fail .. but well not true ... look at the big picture of life ... some havent even made a week or a day or one hour .. but you all have made it one hour,day a week or close to a month and with every bump in the road and every little slip what ever you want to call it .. YOU LEARN AND REMEMEBER ONE THING .. why you need to stop drinking in the first place ...your heath ,wealth and you family and theres one more thing you have to rememeber... who you are doing this for first and it all comes back to you ... you have to be the reason the season the moment .. every step you make forward you will take a step back and you will cry yell vent and feel ashame BUT ... YOU WILL LEARN .. so rememeber this doesnt happen over night.. IT TAKE TIME .. and that one thing you have pretty of as long as you dont give up you will make the best of it ... and this goes out to one and all ... YODA HAS SPOKEN love and hugs .. so LETS GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR AND KEEP LEARNING

OH Tough - totally agree with you - I am back on day one AF again. i quit for almost 8 months, then at the end of July, broke my foot, and was at home, bored and what have you and thought "oh, ONE drink would be nice" - yeah right. so here I am back at day 1 again. I also agree that we aren't given more than we can handle - but am also 3 1/2 years out from cancer, and that in itself is such a stress - can't wait for that magic 5 year mark! My problems are minuscule compared to yours - I remember reading about yours what seems like ages ago and really feeling for you then and thinking how awful it must be for you, and feeling your pain and your fear. How far out are you with your cancer? When do you expect your next court date? How much longer do you expect all this to go on for ? Hang with us - we are a great bunch - we can carry you, and walk with you and be there for you.

Thanks Sun, and CANCER is a huge stressor, I'm 6 yrs. out, and I too was soooo glad to pass that 5 yrs. mark!!! Are you having tests every 3 to 6 mos? I flew from Texas to Baltimore every 3 mos for 3 yrs., and every 6 mos. for 2 yrs., now I only have to go back to Johns Hopkins once a year. You'll make it, but I know how you worry so much before each ck-up! I'll be here for you too, and all of you, I always have, and always will, just wish I had the magic wand to wave over us and fix us all!!! Love you all!

Yes, I am still on the three month check ups and I hate them. I have a good oncologist though. I will be a lot more comfortable when i have passed the five year mark - although I tell myself I am already in the clear! I like to stick my head in the sand and play like an ostrich. LOL

Titty baby, SO glad you're here!! No, I've not personally experience cancer. But for 20 years, I sat by the besides of those who have. You are SO welcome here. You'll get tough love, but that's good. And I've missed you, glad you're back. I haven't been in both places, so I don't know, which is harder; going through the treatments, or sitting next to someone you love who is. You sound GREAT! And I'm so happy for that, and, again, that you're here. Let's work on the AL, along with the big C. You are ready to beat both.

Hey TIT....I had my FIRST chemo on 9/11/2001...can you believe it....so that makes me 9 years out right? I had breast cancer and you and Sunni will both beat it because I SAID SO!!!!!
