Well youve got it tough vick and I dont know how you stand it so just hang in ther I guess. Tex please come and hang out with us and what happened to Norman ? thats sad. I had a bad day yesterday and wasnt feeling that great thought I had a stomach virus and started puking and then back and chest hurting and hadnt drank in maybe 4 weeks or so ,,so went to doc and he sent me to hosp to get ultrasound of gall bladder said sounds like gall stones, after 3 good puke sessions finally got to feeling better. Still waiting to here back...think Im gonna have to get off the diet pepsi though I think that shit causes alot of problems, and quit eating all the junk the kids eat. And had to pay 30 copay for doc and 23 for meds I didnt take and theres 50 bucks Im out I could ill afford...well and had to tell him I was on antabuse and got it off internet and the look on his face made me smile even though back and front hurt hahaha..told him well doc wouldnt give it to me I just get it myself then hahaha. Anyway really tired from not drinking diet pepsi and gotta go ride bike...later

Vick, only you can decide how you want to live, love. There will come a time when a decision has to be made; either you choose that time, or it will be forced on you. You and Paul are going through a lot of things right now, and that causes stress in the best relationships. As for me, I couldn't live with a partner's indecision about being committed to us. (Saying this after heaving a sigh of relief when Hubs and Sadie left for the cabin! I'll follow in my car with the big dogs.) You have personal bridges to cross; we're here to support you, in your sobriety, through it. But they are YOUR choices, ultimately, and if you're happy with them, that's your choice. You have my numbers, OK?

Will have grands most of the time, lots of travel while there, so no real down-time. (Ever tried to sleep with 2 little boys and an ADD 10-year old? Like dozing in a washer on spin cycle!) but I'll love every minute, and will come home from my 'vacation' exhausted!

Hey, kids. I'm still around...just trying to sort out some not nice stuff going on in my life and trying to accept some changes coming my way. I'm no different than any of you.....we all seem to have our own battles to get thru - but I tend to withdraw and keep to myself. I still think of you all every single day and am very glad that I know you and have you as friends. So, please forgive me for not checking in for a while. Ruby-I hope you have a GREAT time at the cabin and get some peaceful, alone time, okay? Jan-good luck on the potential new job-I truly hope it works out for you....you so deserve a change for the better in your life, sweetie. Roger-thank you so much for the pm....you are a great friend and brother. Vicki-I hope you get my pm before you leave today....and thank you so much for calling me the other night and heaving me up from my own hole!!! Bird & Ruby-I am a diet coke-a-holic.....my hubs gets so mad at me because on weekends I start drinking it around 9am......Another bad habit that I am going to have to get out of.
Tough-I am so glad to see you posting here and am really sorry for what you have been going thru. I did want to say that my father had lung cancer and had 1 lung removed at John Hopkins in Baltimore---what a great hospital!!!

Thanks, Ruby. My Dad is doing okay.....his surgery was 5 years ago...I just wanted to let Tough know that that hospital was highly recommended to him for his cancer and I am glad that she is going there too! Have a wonderful time at the cabin-and thanks for being here for me - and all of us.
