'Morning, everyone. Good to see you all perking along, and glad to see we're communicating in other ways.
I have Grace attached at the hip again, but as annoying as it might be for a minute (as the rappers, etc. say) this will pass, and I will miss having her with me. She is so funny, and fun, and shakes up my day when she is here. It's always an amazing thing to see things from a child's viewpoint, and she believes everything I say.
Thank you all for the compliments on the pics. I REALLY still fret over posting so many I'll annoy people, but T tells me to quit fretting, so I'm trying. My grands are gorgeous, I know. Each one seems to get more-so. Tay looks so much like Tiffany, and Tif looks like I did. It's great, but a BIG worry, when you've got this many beautiful girls.
I was going to start my walks this morning, but with my attachment, I couldn't. Hard to acknowledge I'll never be Tay beautiful again, just need to be the best I can be. Yesterday was a complete washout, literally. Recovering from a trip takes longer now, then the storm knocked everything out. And I haven't done more than unload my car since I got home. Kids (I'm oldilocks, remember!) are exhausting. I had as many as 7 at one pont last weekend. But I love it, would trade nothing for it.
So, onward and upward, friends, (unless you'd rather live in the valley! :H)

Getting older is no fun for a woman is it?? I look at my face and wonder where the wrinkles came from....to me Papa gets sexier every year...but not me....plus in my head I am 25!!!
Mimzey....I lurve your pictures!! So don't stop posting. Isn't is great when a child still believes you and needs you? My boys adore me, but now they are smarty pants and goofy and think Mom is half-crazy...plus they love to tackle me and jump on me and it HURTS!!!

Oh Rog - I agree with MB - don't play silly games here!!!! it is one thing if you can afford it - but you need this!!!

MB - I agree with you - don't you sometimes pass a mirror unexpectedly and do a double take and suddenly realise that it was YOU that was that older lady!!! I feel SO young inside!!

Grateful - hope that you are feeling better today? I was thinking of you and hoping that all is well.

I have been off today and had a wonderful day off - decided to get my act together and DO something. ran errands all morning then started painting skirting boards, made phone calls, and still plan on painting the landing which I taped off to paint a week or more ago!! I seem to be feeling better in myself today - gave myself a good talking to - I am drifting and need to focus on what I need/want to achieve. I need to make a list I think - when I was in college they made me the founder member of Lists Anonymous - I was well known for my lists of lists!!

anyway - waiting to hear from Jan!!

Okay Rog - I think that you might need to post some "Rules of Painting". They might go something like this:

When you are painting a sloping ceiling, don't look up - paint is very hard to rinse out of ones eye and it stings!!

If you move the drop cloth, make sure that there is no wet paint along the edge of it that will transfer to the carpet where you haven't covered yet!

When you are painting said sloping ceiling remember it is there or you get a head full of paint! (hard to brush out of fine hair without hair coming out)

When you decide to take a break, make sure you didn't step in a splodge of paint on the drop cloth and make a splodge down each (carpeted) stair.

Preferably dress in a head to toe coverall so you aren't covered in paint!!

Oh - almost forgot - if you put too much paint in one area, it goes into a sort of yucky mushy mess which I am not sure how to get rid of.

The main reason for this list of things.......get ROGER in to do your painting!!!!!!!!
