Hi sweetness....I am not sure but they are watching her very closely....she has meningitis symptoms.....very bad flu-like symptoms...but menigitis can kill in 24 hours and it very contagious.....so I was very worried and stopped everything to get him checked....thanks for asking neart aqnd I am glad you have joined our little family!!

MB, I know you had a shock with son. Meningitis is SO scary! I know you're tired. I've been so tired the last few nights, but such a good tired.
Off to spend time with Hubs before he falls out. He's so tired too, but his vacation starts Friday. So does the local festival, and the traffic and tourists.

Hallo everyone. Just got in from work - had to come home on my break to let Maggie out as hubs said she wouldn't go out when he left - duh - MAKE her go out - anyway even after me coming home on my break - when i got home she had had accidents! Poor mag - she was so embarrassed! So, I have now cleaned up. Gosh I feel kind of flat this evening. Fed up with my foot and my other leg hurting. Snap out of it Jean Bean!!! Missed being here today - I like when I am off and pop back and forth here.

Rog - hope the cards help you. You are certainly putting an effort into getting noticed.

MB - do hope all is well with your son- how scary for you. good for you for putting all that adrenaline into work though. want to come my way - I have LOADS of yard work since I can't do it - I offered to pay my out-of-work neighbour and he was so pleased and said yes - and hasn't been over once.

Hey Nora! So good to have you here; now we can talk old movies some more!!
I had good results with the topomax, actually better for the cravings than back. I am back on in for another medical reason now, the one it was actually designed for, so it's a double help.
I can only tell you, from my experience, alcohol wasn't the root of all my problems, but it sure the hell made them worse. At it cost me a LOT. I'm older, and it was progressive, and would have destroyed me. As it is, there are things from my past I cannot fix; so I make this a good day.
Sometimes I have to stop and reread my own bottom signature. It has worked for me for a long time now. I'm not there yet, but AL's not the reason anymore.
Sorry good morning all you shifters. (Yes, I'm up early). It's going to be a WICKED busy 4-day weekend. Along with the festival where next to my property where 1000's show up, there's a 20-mile long yardsale from here to the interstate! :H Along with every bad driver in the Southeast. So I may hit a few sales, Grace has already called and asked me to take her to the festival (she knows I'LL have some cash!:H), we're finishing the rental, and hibernating. Leaving for the cabin in a few days (YAY!), and already have 2 days planned by our daughter! So, BUSY BUSY, buy good.

Mornin' Grate! Yes, the program was horrible, haunting. It's hard for me to describe how it made me feel. My son and Britt had such parrallels in their lives. My son has been very disturbed by it too, and on top of my next door neighbor of 20 years, who was very much involved in all my family's lives, dying suddenly this spring, it's made us all take a closer look at ourselves and how we live. Another reason I'm glad the events of this year are behind us.
I'm still voting for Rog to become the travelling handiman!! We could sure use him here!
Anyone near the East Coast, please check in and tell us you're OK. This Earl looks like a real booger.

About 80 miles from Ocean City. I have the Chesapaeke Bay in between the Ocean and us....We'll get some high surf that's all. Of course that's what they said about the last Herricane we got, and one was a dossie......( Isabelle) ! Ha!
