Whew, what a day, but a good one. I had 2 good applicants, one house. Son is moving out of one of ours (long story) and it would be perfect for second applicants, plus it's the one we want to sell, they have a great history, and they want to buy, down the road. They drove by, wanted to go in, Hubs met them at 4 and by 5 we'd signed a contract and I have a NICE check in hand. Two houses I haven't advertised, 2 good families, and I'm done with the awful vetting process. All that's left is the awful cleaning process, but I can bribe Taylor to do that. I'm a happy, exhausted, Mimzy. MIL cooked fried chicken dinner for us, so that was perfect timing.
See, things work out. We've been struggling for months with people not paying, empty houses, money that was earmarked for our expenses. And in one day, things are looking up. I'm BELIEIVING good things are coming your ways, all of you. Thank you all for your support.

Hi everyone. Rodger you can stay with me and Greatfull if you need. MB LOVE YOUR IDEA I would add some fake blood and the sound of running water, that would scare the shit out of them. Told the Boss with Greatfull's help the Hell would have to freez over before the smoking lady and rat move into my house!!!!! Well TGIF we are headed to the shore so my and my little girl can catch the rip currents and under toes. Good pratice for her and just plain fun for me. She just passed her SCUBA class but still needs to be drown proff. So off we go to sit in trafic sound like fun. Greatfull let me know how you feel tonight?????? Have a great holiday...... ok guys..... thsank for the idea's mama but i would have to get my passport and really cant leave at the moment .. with uncle getting heart surgery and it still hasnt happen yet and sue getting to where she feels like shit every other day ... i just cant make a move like that .. and well low on funds as we speck .. but bills are payed and im still finding out what it would take a do zipcode mailing lists thur vista print.. where i buy the postcards from ... but yeah as iad pointed out seems like i go thur this every so offen and will work everything out and well have a great 3 day weekend ... stay strong and keep thinking positive love and hugs

As I said, today was a good day, but hard. I told Hubs my mind is in superspeed, and it's REALLY annoying me, making check lists, making to-do lists, evaluating people's applications, etc. Before AF, I would have dulled brain down to stop the thoughts. But I NEED the thoughts. And besides, he's such a natural born smart-ass, I need a sharp tongue and a sharp wit to stay on top. :H
Today would have been so easy to drink. Hubs has had a few, after a grueling day working. But 'a drink' wouldn't have helped anything, and 5 would have been a disaster. A hot bubble bath is SO much more relaxing. And I will still feel good tomorrow.
MB, you know I've messaged you about today. No one judges here, but tell me how I can help make a plan for your next temptation. We ALWAYS have the next temptation. And with work, we can have that wonderful feeling that temptation is SO fleeting. :hug: to you tonight.
Great job on the decision, Biz. As I told you, and everyone else did, it would have ended badly, with you holding a bigger bag.

G'night ya'll. Morning will come soon, and so much to do. Thinking of putting some sleeping meds in Hubs coffee tomorrow to slow him down. Ya'll don't know what it's like when he's on 'vacation' (that's a joke!!)
He said he didn't think we'd have time to go the cabin. I answered 'YOU may not!'. I've cleaned everyone's house, but mine. I'm the last to get new carpet, lights fixed, plumbing sorted, so I'm about to tell him I'm renting! :H Fix it, or I move on! (BTW: He's GOING to the cabin!)
Anyway, really feel good about today, but it took weeks of work for both of us. We each have a speciality, which is why we are a good pair.

Hi all
had a bad time of really wanting to drink this weekend and sort of planning it and didnt take my antabuse for a week and thinking and thinking and driving myself crazy. Finally this morning which today would be the 1st day I would have the chance to drink and thinking about it when I woke up, running the buzz through my head and running through my head what I would do if I was going to not drink. decided to pop an antabuse cuz didnt want to deal with the hangover and blackout I always have and all th bs that goes along with it. Still there is that bug in my brain running around wishing I hadnt taken the antabuse. Maybe I shoud try chewing catnip leaves or something. Thats what the cat does. Hell, I can't smoke pot cuz of my asthma. Well I'll just have to drink these damn diet pepsis and they might kill me but at least I will remember it if they do.blah..................b

To answer your earlier question...we only have 1 hen and 2 roosters now...we had 4 hens but we lost 3 this year. I'd like to get a few more one of these days. Your rooster in the pumpkins looked cute. I don't think you should chew on catnip, silly. Enjoy the beautiful day-at least I hope it's beautiful where you are!
Ruby-you sound tired but a good tired. It must feel so good to have accomplished that much! Mama Bear-you will get there, hon. Keep on trying.....that's all we can do. Roger-I am so glad that you didn't find any gators...you had me worried that you might feed them "Roger meat".....hope you don't mind that I called..but it was on my heart to check in on you. As I said, you are like a brother to us....and my only brother, 2 years younger than myself, overdosed on pain medicine 4 years ago on Memorial Day weekend. He was an addict like me....first alcohol, then pain medicine. I wasn't there for him and I will never forgive myself for not staying in closer touch with him. So, if I feel that someone who may be feeling "lost", I'll try my best to be there for them. Tony-I'm so glad that you keep us going with your humor...what would we do without you? Vicki-where are you? Are your parents still visiting? I hope you are doing GREAT and I know you'll check in when you can. We do miss you.

I am a tired "Gigi" this morning 'cause she was up early but she is sleeping now along with PopPop. So, I think I'll get some work done while I have the chance.

Bird, you used your brain on this one!! It's working, GIRL!! Don't I know how we romance the idea of drinking WAY before we do it? But you done good!!!!!!! You prevented it, and now, no regrets. Enjoy the evening sober. It may not feel like it, but this is a big thing, really. Now, not allowing yourself a drink, allow yourself some pride in what you did. No regrets over it Bird.
I don't know when during the past at a gig you drank too much, or your blackouts started, but if it affected your performances in the past, you KNOW that can affect others perceptions of your dependability at an event.Again, I don't know; you may have always been the consummate performer. And I know so many muscians, and I understand how you express your individuality. So look at this as an opportunity to really showcase yourself, bright and shining (and sober!).
Can't wait to see you next month, and meet your kids. Be sure to bring some music, please!! Look at today as a good step toward the trip. The woods and stream are waiting!
