I'm afraid not, grateful, just woke up, had a nice conversation with God and feel totally at peace today. My mind wants to think about "the house nightmare", but I'm not going to on this day! We are planning on leaving in the morning to go back and paint and measure for carpet and possibly meet with an atty my brother has lined up. Just gonna take one single step at a time and trust that my God is going to work all this out for US. BTW, my daughter got engaged Saturday. I'm so happy, but really dread the expense of a wedding, but don't have to worry about that today! TODAY I AM FREE TO ENJOY MY DAY! Went to work 1/2 day, was supposed to have dr appt at 1 but they rescheduled. I dont want to go back to work though and was already gone when they called so I'll just stay here. Hi all. Confession time. Saw my doc. I have been drinking again - he said that the reason I was 'flat' on the Topa was that my body has been used to having AL (even though I never had enough to get drunk - I was used to having it) for almost my whole life - so I haven't developed coping skills without it. When I stopped the Topa and was still AF I was hoping that my 'happy' would come back - thinking it was the Topa - it wasn't - even after 8 months, it was that I hadn't worked out how to 'live' without AL. Breaking my foot - well, that made me start drinking again - I needed the AL to cope with it. I am going to start the Topa again from week 1 - apparently I jumped in at too high a level - Doc said I should have done that (started again at week 1) - he also wants me to see a counselor to find out why I need the drink (???????). I am feeling very down about the whole thing - guilt, hypocritical, he said beating myself up isn't going to help at all (which I know). I am just so cross with myself over the whole thing. I know none of you can say anything to help - I know what I need to do. i suppose I just need to talk it out on here to let you all know what is going on. I asked him why I am happy when I drink (and I don't mean JUST when I drink - I mean 24 hours a day) and he said it is because I have my coping level back! AL is how I cope with life so we have to find out why. Need to start getting ready for work. Closing shift today. Just want to go back to bed really.

well im back and got everything i need for this job on tuesday ... and man i sweated my ass off just getting the trailor ready ..and well its packed and ready ... well everyone i'll make another video just for you all ..i have to say it was fun and my buddy calls up saying next time fill it up with bubble bath lol..

Frustrated

Hello all,

This is my first post, though I?ve been reading other post for a while now. I started Campral, 3 times a day last Friday (09.10.10). I must say it is great. The drug really helps. I actually haven?t had a drink since last Tuesday because I was trying to go AF for a few days prior to starting the drug. Anyway, today is Monday, (09.13.10) I?m at work and my head is killing me. I woke up with a massive headache this morning. I actually feel like I have a hangover. This sucks. It?s like I?m damned if I do and damned if I don?t.

I've been home about 2 hours, had 8 phone calls, made dinner, still have to feed all the animals. Exhausted, really, but I'm here. Have to talk to all my new rentors tonight, one will be here in a few minutes, so, will talk tomorrow. May sleep the next 2 weeks.
