I had my gall bladder out a few years ago Bird. The only problem, and it can be a big one, is when u gotta go , U GOTTA GO!!!! My doc said it was a "fat trap" and the fat will run right thru u to the bowels. But the amazing body adjusts, so u should be fine and be in a lot less pain!!

Just got in from work. feel absolutely pooped this evening! Maggie is sitting by me, chewing on her nails - I never have to get them trimmed - she bites them!!! But she makes such an awful noise.

Bird, my mum had GB trouble and she has no problems now, apart from if she eats too much fatty stuff. As Grateful said, it is a pretty common procedure, done as an outpatient - I believe with keyhole surgery, so you should be up and bouncing around in no time at all. How did the mammo go??

Panno - I would love to have time to sit around - I suppose, when I get extra time, I just try to fill it with more stuff - CSE - you are more than welcome to come to my house and clean top to bottom in your free time - are you anywhere near Illinois?? I would welcome you with open arms!!

Rog - I LOVE avocados - wish you could freeze them or dry them or can them or something - I love them!

Biz - yes, we do need to talk - but I work tomorrow morning 7-3.30 - will e-mail you and maybe you will get it on your blackberry. Tomorrow best time to get me is after 4.30. I am so sorry about your God-daughter - but Celiacs disease can be managed with diet - why is she having to have a biopsy? Grateful - lovely to hear from you too. Hope that you had a good day!

Ruby - did your day settle down at all? Mine did - once I got to work - it is funny - I go to work to slow down and relax these days!! Hi IAD - as usual, loved the pics that you choose to go with the situations on here!

I looked at the news this morning but didn't see anything about a "killin' in Georgia"....hopefully Ruby's husband survived the night.........Seriously, Ruby, I hope things are better today for you...sorry he accused you of drinking - no wonder you were so furious!!!! Jan-best of luck today on your tests......I just know you will be getting this job!!! But I was thinking...can't you tell them you have had plans for the time at Ruby's...usually you can negotiate stuff like that right up front.
