Hey all. Hope you've all had a good start on your day. I have a renter coming in a minute to pay me and sign some more papers. I'll be so glad when everyone is settled and my only contact (hopefully) will be on rent day!
Son has gotten youngest g'daughter an excuse from school on Friday so she can go with me, as well as Taylor and her friend Britt. Tay called last night to ask if a 'boy' friend of theirs could go. Hmmm. I've given it some thought, (it's someone they've known a long time), and decided to say yes, as long as her Daddy agrees and the boy pays for his own meals. It will give me a good long time to get to know him, see them all together. I'd PREFER he not go, but I'll deal with it. We used to take son's gf's with us, and daughter's guy friends, so I'll manage. I have a feeling that since I won't pay his way he won't go. :H
Rog, I've started my search for different green possibilities. You know we've talked about the area you're in being one of the hardest hit economically, so it's just slower to pick up. I read yesterday the worst is over (how can they tell, I wonder) but it will take people a while to be able to trust spending money again.
I have a royal mess of stuff needing to be packed or discarded since I started my whirlwind house cleaning. It's easy to get overwhelmed. But it's sort of renewing, too.
Lets all get out there, do our best. I'll check in later.
