Starty, hope you are feeling better and don't have to give up the chocolate.
My 96 year old aunt LOVED chocolate, but it gave her the shits something awful. In the end, she had really bad memory problems, but she would ALWAYS remember that my mom had chocolate in her purse for her. Sweet old thing.

Sept 1st here in Virginia - the students are all back at school. I am having to help out Medical Records by entering immunization data. It's very tedious. With about 8,000 new undergrads, we'll be at it for a while!!

Still burning hot here, with no end in sight wrt rain (as in none). I think I planted my cool season crops too early. :upset:

Know , cause i lived there for so long, 12 years. i go back as much as i can,all it costs is my flights, i have some great friends who live there, i will be going back there to live in the next 2 years. if my plans stay on course :-)

Its different than spain, imo people are a lot more friendlier and its not as commercialized as there(yet)

There are lots of expats there, big drinking culture.


The north and middle of portugal is completely different from the south (algarve) they even get snow there and its quite lovely.


wouldn't think there is much work there now, maybe bar & restaurant type ?
