This morning I feel so grateful to have gone 21 days without alcohol. It's a blessing and a miracle. I am thankful to have finally got it. I never could have done this through willpower. I was too impulsive, felt I was too deserving of that glass/bottle of wine. After all, I had nothing else in life. I'm glad to be able to understand I had things in my life and alcohol was going to make sure I really had nothing in my life. I am grateful and thankful that I am not drinking or craving that glass of devastation. I pray to always feel this way.
