    Army Thread 2nd September

Saw a big tub in Poundland today, for well a pound.
Mr JC's orff to Tesco in a bit I'll ask him to keep an eye out.
Mind if he finds some I'll have no roof on me mouth so I'll be typing funny tomorrow.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Mr JC has now accepted the mission and will be shortly abseiling down a large rope with a big grabber thing to get the Twiglets.

Or he may just wander round aimlessly trying desperately to remember what he went for and come home with a pork pie.

When Starty came over here she was loaded down with Twiglets and Bisto Gravy Granules. It's a wonder the sniffer dogs didn't chase her all over the baggage claim!
I'm from Canada - but with so many rellies in England I spent quite a few summers there getting addicted to Curly Wurlys and such.

(Also really liked visiting my aunts in Birmingham as they took us on coach trips that always stopped at a pub along the way and I was allowed to have a shandy - even at about 12 years old!!!)

I have Bisto Gravy powder sent to me from Canada - I've never tried the granules but SweetBay stocks it so I bought a box. We will see....
